  1. But neither the less, will be priceless to historians of the future.
  2. Yea, it would be interesting what people write. Probably end up shocking the people 50,000 years later.
  3. Interesting, but probably way harder to read then the normal one. I'll stick with the first one, Thou it is a smart idea.
  4. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KEO Keo is a time capsule planned to be launched into space next year, and will come back.to Earth in 50,000 years time. It was first conceieved by a French artist-scientist, Jean-Marc Philippe. They are now inviting people to write messages. http://www.keo.org/uk/pages/message.php Its something cool that 50,000 years time, someone will open your message and read, basically the past.
  5. yea, i forgot about the quote marks, can a mod edit it?
  6. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Its a 2 page articile, but the main info is listed here. Along with seeing the final CPU, GPU, TV encoder, and Southbridge chips in the flesh, we were told how the CPU's three cores are capable of running at a whopping 3.2 GHz each -- each core supporting two threads making for a total of six threads running at any one time. The CPU is a custom-built IBM PowerPC-based chip. The GPU is also a powerhouse, and Holmdahl seemed confident that the graphical grunt of the 360 is around twice as powerful as the most powerful PC chipset architecture currently in circulation. With a clock speed of 500 MHz, the GPU (designed by ATI) is able to support up to 48 different pixel shaders (advanced shader language) at any one time, something which will allow developers and artists to use some truly gorgeous rendering and special effects in their games. The CPU and GPU are linked together by a blisteringly fast data bus which can transfer operations at an incredible 5.4 Gb per second. Couple this together with the TV encoder chip (responsible for the various high-definition output modes that connect to HD-compatible displays) and the Southbridge chip which deals with a variety of functions like audio, and the core of the 360 shapes up to be incredibly efficient and extremely powerful. The bottom line? Games for the Xbox 360 have the potential to be very, very special. After all, the overall system floating-point performance of the machine is an astounding 1 TFLOP!
  7. I tried the script, so i might try manually putting it in this time.
  8. 11. He unfortunely has a bad record for that. His various writings has him calling other religons as fake and only Catholicism is the way to salvation. He calls other Christian churches as defunct. But indded your right, he would need to follow the footsteps of John Paul II or he would be not supported by the rest of the Church.

  13. I've tried what you said. It's still spitting out the same error.

  15. Yea. Problem is, I think most games use to much graphics because they can make more money are less cost. So the big companies go and pump money into developing new games, and forget about everything else.

  17. Some scientists believe that homosexuality is caused by a certain gene i.e. They can't help being gay. Some also believe it psychologically based i.e Your more likily to be gay if you also have gay parents. However it is cause, it is definately not a disease. Otherwise, we would have a epidimic. You could threoically become gay tomorrow. Your sexual prefrenence depends on many factors. So if you were brought up in a repressive envoronment, and you had homosexual tendicies, you will be most likly to repressive those feelings. That could explain why middle-age men may chose to be homesexual later in life.
  18. Rats, I don't have cable so I can't get discovery channel. Its sounds very interesting thou.
  19. Heh, my dad nags me about that too. Anyway, I think we wouldn;t be able to survive. We today are reliant on computers for just about everything, so I chose the less than 1 hr choice .
  20. I've heard of that before. If it is true, (and it probably is) it would probably revolutionise storages and backup as we know it. I'll keep an eye out for it.
