Miners Trapped In West Virginia
warbird1405241485 replied to SunBlind's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I've got bad news for you, I'm sorry to tell you, but that part on TV was a misunderstanding between people. Because, well, err. twelve of them are death and one survived, not like you said twelve survived and one died. I'm very sorry for you, did you know anybody of them? All the best for you and everybody else. -=jeroen=- -
125 Yr Old Woman Sprouts New Tooth
warbird1405241485 replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Even if the lady is... ... let's say .... ... 105 years old, that's not a very extraordinary age (well maybe, but there are people prooved that were older) , then it's still very strange that she sprouts a new tooth isn't it??? And yeah, tooth can act strange, I know someone who sprouted a tooth at 36 years, why not at 125 years? -=jeroen=- -
Evolution Or God... How were we created?
warbird1405241485 replied to Nemisis's topic in Science and Technology
I think the bible is just something humans imaged because people didn't understand the wonders of mother nature. Why couldn't we just been created out of nothing? Because we don't understand how you can making something from nothing? If you asked let's say thousand years ago someone what lighting was they would say for sure that it had something to do with god, one way or another. Maybe in another thousand years people understand how we have been created. Maybe even earlier. Don't say something isn't possible because it isn't proofed scientific, only say it's impossible when it's proofed, and for so far as I know nobody proofed that we weren't created by evolution.-=jeroen=- -
Blind Teen Can Play Games And Wins
warbird1405241485 replied to Brian1405241474's topic in Computer Gaming
That problem occures in many more games, what about call of duty or many other shooters? I think that he got some sort of mod that tells him wether he is aiming at a friend or a foe by making some kind of sound, otherwise it would be impossible be even play a shooter wouldn't it? I mean, you can't just go and shoot away just as long until you hit something. He must got some kind of help, however I still think it's amazing that he can do it, I can't even play a simple puzzle game or whatever with my eyes closed. -=jeroen=- -
I used to play CounterStrike quite a lot, but that was a long, long time ago. CS 1.6 realy rocked, but now it's just not good enough anymore and I don't like CS:source, don't know why. I now have better games to play like Call of Duty 2 and Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood (one of the best games I ever played by the way).-=jeroen=-

At the top of your page there should be the Xisto shoutbox, underneath that some advertising and then you've got some green (or red, if your credits are negative) text that says: "HOSTING CREDITS: XX" where instead of XX should be a number. That's the amount of hosting credits you got. -=jeroen=-

Possibility Of A Google Os ?
warbird1405241485 replied to jwcgator's topic in Websites and Web Designing
The people of google are smart, and they're probably smart enough to write an OS, but it takes more then that to beat Microsoft. Firefox and Opera are lots and lots better then Internet Explorer. But why do 90% of the people using a computer still use IE? Because Microsoft got a monopoly position. The sell IE with every copy of Windows and only people who use computers much and realy see the differences are willing to download Firefox or Opera. If Google would release there own OS and they could manage to sell it to many people maybe that would bring MS down, if nobody buy Windows anymore, there won't be much people buying other stuff from them too. If they do it right, they maybe kill Microsoft for ever. (computer independence day !!! :D )-=jeroen=- -
Life Without A Computer is it possible?
warbird1405241485 replied to insanity10117's topic in Software
I can't say I can life without computers, but I don't think I would die immediately if my computer would crash. Ok, I would do bad at school because I couldn't make parts of my homework. (well maybe I could make them on the school network, but I don't want to spent whole days on school to do my homework.) And I think I would be extremely bored. I can't design websites and other things, no chatting anymore and not even games. And of course my Xisto account would die a painful death ... -=jeroen=- -
Ey all, yesterday when I was looking in the member list I noticed something strange, the number of moderators seemed to be decreased, maybe it was already for a long time and I just didn't noticed it, maybe not. But I can't find any new moderators. Is it because the Xisto community is getting smaller (I've found it less busier then usual the past few months) and don't need more mods or is it just that there aren't any people around here who are good enough to become mod? I know I wouldn't be a good one, but there are quite a few people who I think would be good mods. Any explanation please?-=jeroen=-

Creating Your Own 3d Pictures
warbird1405241485 replied to warbird1405241485's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
You could do that in movies too, but you would have to edit every single image of the movie if you don't use more advanced software. Just a little maths: 24 images per second to let it move smoothly, 60 second per minute, 60 minutes per hour. Then for a little movie of 10 minutes you need to edit 24*60*10(wait a sec, im taking my calculator)=14400 images, say you need one minutes per images = 14400/60 = 240 images per hour = 10 days non-stop work. I don't think you got that much patient do you. And yes, you need to have a couple of 3D glasses to view it, but they aren't that exspensive for so far as I know.-=jeroen=- -
hehe devilish as always nah just kidding, this is my 249th post, almost 250, also quite a nice number isnt it =-jeroen=-

Anywayz, I'm not gonna tell you much about it, but I think it's a bit too girlies, correct me if I'm wrong (after I posted the example of course )-=jeroen=-

Anyone Interested In Computer Game Creation
warbird1405241485 replied to Illudar's topic in Programming
RPG maker is good, but if it's worth it, that's another question. I still prefer GameMaker v6.1 since it allows you to make 3D games and other games types and not only RPG's Ok, I agree, if you want to make a RPG it's easier to user RPG maker but with GM you can create everything yourself so you can exactly make it like you want it. If you go with GameMaker you can always PM me for help (or just look at the GM forums, otherwise you need to ask someone else. -=jeroen=- -

I'm not realy good at writing tutorials, and since I'm very busy you'll have to do it with a link. Maybe this helps you out. I didn't try it, but from the description I think it's a program to design fonts. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Typography/default.aspx -=jeroen=- I did some more research and came up with these programs: Font Creator Program Bitmap Font Builder Bitmap Font Writer I think that should do it. For more information read the help files of the programs, that always is very helpful. -=jeroen=-

Probably just someone with some wires lost in his head. Nothing to worry about, just funny and nice if you just wanna laugh. Bush isn't stupid, I mean, if you've got your bachelor degree you certainly aren't stupid. It's just the wrong person, at a very very wrong place.

What Is The Biggest Hard Drive In The World ?
warbird1405241485 replied to abandongamez's topic in Software
I know that at my fathers company they work with harddisks of about 2TB(maybe more, but not sure) and then they use several of them combined. But that computers are quite big, somewhere near 2m x 3m x 1m (height x width x depth). Of course harddisks will have more capacity in future and less big but I don't want to have such a creature in my living room, do you? -=jeroen=- -
My I remember you people that the oldest man in the world was a Dutch one, until he died a few months ago unfortunately ...
