  12. Microsoft has issued a Security Advisory (912840) on 28 Dec. It concerns the recent WMF vulnerability exploit. Microsoft also gave a temp solution to protect your PC until they issue a patch. It's a good idea to use this before the patch comes out. The following is a quote from the Microsoft Security Advisory. P.S. WMF is an image format that store both vector and bitmap data in the same file. If you use IE and visit a site that contains an infected WMF image, you will get infected immediately. However, if you use Firefox or some other browser, you are safe.

  20. I think Microsoft Office has reached a state of maturity. It is becoming harder to convince users to upgrade with every new release. Therefore, Microsoft is giving Office a brand new, redesigned interface. Only two traditional elements (the FILE menu and a QUICK LAUNCH toolbar icons) remain from all previous version of Ovvice.Using Open XML format and supporting PDF are the importantchanges in Office 12.

You can check your gmail anytime anywhere iff your mobile phones has an Internet browser. you can view attached photos and documents , and reply-by-call. Great...isn't it? I think we can check gmail not only on cellphone, but also on PDA. But when I tried to access https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&continue= https://mail.google.com/mail/ , Mozilla reports invalid tag in XML: XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag. Expected: . Then I try internet explorer. it popup the file download window... It seems the page is not valid XML. Maybe it is because I am in Hong Kong right now.

This package includes two Excel files, one being the original document, and the other being is a copy modified to demonstrate the vulnerability, and detailed description of the flaw. The seller has discovered this vulnerability on December 6. The action is set at a low starting price of $0.01. Microsoft representatives who bid would get 10 per cent off the price they offered... I never thought code for flows can be sold... Would you buy it if you are a developper?? source: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
