I have an iPod mini, which I think are far better looking than the big, ponderous iPod. Mini's are good looking, small and light. The special thing is that there is a little hard-disk in it just like ur CPU. Although this is not new, it's certainly well applied. And last but not least there is an excellent battery inside. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying other players are bad, it's just that iPod is good.

Ehm, I think the Big Lebowsky is great, uhm Monty Python movies (like Life of Brian, The holy grail), the incredibles. Uhm I didn't think Ocean's 12 was that good, but ocean's 11 was great too.

Well, maybe some (or maybe many) of you have heard of the benefits of meditation. I'll summ the best ones up for you: People who meditate regularly have been shown to feel less anxiety and depression. They experience more enjoyment and appreciation of life and that their relationships with others are improved. Meditation produces a state of deep relaxation and a sense of balance or equanimity. It lowers your blood pressure. It helps to build up your resistance against illness's and diseases. Ppl hooked on addictions (such as drugs, smoking, drinking) should do well to meditate. Meditation lowers the need for such things. How 2 meditate: Begin your meditation with this: Sit up, closeyour eyes and bring your attention to your breathing. Softly press the nose bone of your right nose breach. Breathe deeply and slowly through the other breach for as long as you can. Feel the breath go through you into your lungs. Hold your breath for a few secs, Release your thumb and slowly let the air flow out. Try to make the breath inwards as long as the one outwards. Do this a few times, and as soon as you notice you become relaxed and peaceful, you can start the actual ... MeditationIn this meditation breathing is our meditation object. We try to focus on the rhythm of our breathing. Because this is only the beginning and depending on your air capacity we take 10 seconds the time to inhale. Afterwards we hold the breath 10 seconds and take we 10 seconds the time to exhale. If this goes easily then it's possible you take 15 or 20 seconds take for every phase of breathing. We count in our ideas and follow with attention breathing. We inhale by our nose (if possible) and try separate each and every breath linearly over the 10 secs. Start you inhalation from your abdomen, to your ribs and midriff and eventually to the upper part chest. While exhaling you do the same but exactly the other way around. If you hold the breath you can take a point as the umbilical point or possible sensations in your body as a point of interest. Each time if we go astray in our ideas returns we to our breathing. Ideal is it if you can seconden apprehend after course of time 20secs /20secs/ 20secs cycle. Well, that's about it. This is just a basic form of meditation. Search google for it and before you know it your up and in 1000's of site about it. It's really wortwhile, i reccomend it.

Nah it's not always a waste of money. In modernday marathons for example, they use chips attached to shoes to register someones times in between and overall time (the runners walk over some kind of mat with a sensor). Built in chips are handyer and look nicer. Futhermore, it would seem nice to have a schedule of your running if your a professional runner. That way you could determine a few things what you could improve.

Many people I know (and probably a lot i do not know) are 'scared' of the evolution theory cuz it seems difficult and irrelevant. The thing is, the theory is porbably the simplest that's to it; the discussions that follow are most of the times more difficult and interesting. But for everyone who wants to talk along with us: The theory (in a nutshell) is as follows: Variation within a species, heavy competition in nature and inheritance make sure that a species can change bit by bit An example: In the midst of the Southpole, more than 100 kilometers from the sea, lives a bird we call snowstormbirds (translated it literally from dutch if u know english name plz post). Within close surroundings there is only ice and snow, and this little bird has to fly the whole 100 km to sea to catch a fish, eat's half of it, flys back home and gives his bird-girlfriend the other half. The next day she does the same. But now get this: there is another bird in this area called the southpolehunter. This guy eats the poor birds eggs. So in total there are 2 entire bird-species that rely in that 1 little fish. Imagine 1 bird that is just a bit better in catching a fish, and flying the 100 km to sea and back, and just a bit better in hidings it's nest from the eggeater-bird. Naturally this bird has a higher chance of survival. Higher chance of survival means more descendants. These descendants have a big chance to also have acces to daddy's and/or mommy's features. Naturally, these birds survive way better than the ones without the extra's. Thanks mum and dad! What happens? Cuz the super-birds are better at surviving, they get more baby's, which results in the same: everyone of them gets more baby's too. But because the amount of fish is limited and doesn't change, there is only room for a set amount of birds. So eventually, the super-birds take over the whole population of snowstormbirds.

Well that explains it but just to be sure: If your sites is about, throw mes something, dogs for example (my dog just entered my room ). Then u put this in ur metatags: ... until you're fed up with adding more keywords. The meta description is simple too: Just type a story of what ur site is about. Then ur done! Some searche engines will automatically search for meta tags, but with others you have to submit your site first.

What's most sucky about MSN search is that with IE, if they can't find a site, it links to MSN search (with all good intentions, im sure of that ) and gives some 'relevant' options for you to choose. This creates stupid situations, Below is a file I attached, explaining what I mean. (I don't know i any of you guys know Tibia, but it's a MMORPG -> Massive multiplayer online roleplaying game (dunno who thought THATone up )) Allow me to translate this beautiful piece of result: Next to the I: There aren't any results for 'tibia.com' Then it says (follow the red arrow): Maybe you could try one of these related websites? It appears (but maybe I'm wrong) that this URL is exactly the same as i typed Yes! they did it again

Google Preview Neat google-related firefox plugin.
Qop replied to jonypawks's topic in Search Engines
Of course, if you already have a good browser, why switch? But I had IE for all my life, until half a year ago someone gave me the link to FF. I tried it once or twice, but quickly got irritated becuz i couldn't get something like 'links' on the adress bar, etc.I dropped and went on with IE, but I really got annoyed by the fact that some pics wouldn't load and the page crashed, things like that. So I thought i'd give FF another try. After i got used to it and learnt the h-keys, it became my favourite browser, and i didn't try anything else cuz I'm happily browsing now. It's not that I hate IE, I still use it next to FF! Each of the browsers has their pro's and con's and we have to live with it... or design a brwoser that fits our needs. -
Lol my friend reccomended me Thunderbird (It is a programme from Mozilla). It is downloadable from their site. This is what they say it does: Thunderbird 1.0 is Mozilla’s next generation e-mail client. Thunderbird makes emailing safer, faster, and easier than ever before with the industry’s best implementations of features such as intelligent spam filters, saved search folders, builtin RSS support, privacy protection and much more. I might try it out myself some day, as FF is great

Javascript Do you use javascript in your page ?
Qop replied to Mathieu_021's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Although i'm not a great programmer, I do know my way around Javascript. It was one of the first script-languages I knew and could control I have used it in my countless never finished projects of mine. -
Definately Flash MX, it's just better. easy Why? I have been animating with Flash for over a few years now (i guess i started somewhere in 2000) and tried some other prgms. But compared to flash, they just, well, sucked. I must admit that i don't know of freehand, but with swish, it's like this guy before me said: Furthermore, the ppl of flash have years and years of experience in software developing, so I'd think they know what they are doing

AVG: Computer Killer? I dont know if this goes here but...
Qop replied to kevlar557's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I find it veeeery unlikely that this would happen, but if you can't fix it, backing up and formatting is probably your best option.
