Simply, it is not set out nicely enough. MSN Search does not have as many websites stored in its database. As stated earlier, the main websites do not come first, although it does allow smaller sites to get top of the list. Also, Opaque, could I please see your perl search engine? I'd like to see what it was like.

My HD draws up to around 37gigabytes.Which isn't very much when 7 gigabytes is taken up by Windows 98 files. So it runs out of space rather quickly and I have to continually do clear outs just to free up some space for myself. I see the majority of you have much bigger hard drives than me.

Where can I learn more pearl? I knew a few bits and bobs when I started learning it earlier but I never got round to finishing it as I had to send my pc off and the domain didn't get stored in the memory. Thankyou in advance.

I found that a problem too. So I decided to use SmartFTP. Its very good and easy to use. It is quite powerful but not as advanced as I'd like it to be. But it offers good enough options and tools. My only problem with it is that when you start it and your trial has finished it comes up requestiong you to pruchase the full package.
