NFSU2 Need For Speed Underground 2
-=Wrighty=- replied to swi.tloveforever's topic in Computer Gaming
I love the Outruns, Downhill Drift and Street X. They really bring something new into the game which wasn't there before, a different style of racing. -
The gameplay is superb, it has amazing graphics. The fight scenes are awesome, it quickly loads battles with over 3000 men. The tactical side of the battlefield of great, formations can win or lose you a battle. Whether choosing to skirmish or head straight on it a win or lose question. The Campaign map is absolutely amazing, you do no long, have something in a region to attack it, you have to move to actually at the army, basically meaning, you can be in the same region as an army but not attacking it. Now you also have to deal with forests(can be used to ambush an enemy) and Moutainpasses.

Seeing as the old topic is locked for warez. The game is absolutely superb, its much easier to use. But, It has a huge database of players along with a very powerful match engine. It outclasses CM4(which has probably been the worst of the Championship Manager Series) and also CM03-04(which was an awesome game) by far.I advise you all to buy it.

Moving Content Mangement Systems Is this possible?
-=Wrighty=- replied to hashbang's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I did exactly what rudy did, although, its much easier if you link you site like this: <a href="forums">rather than<a href="http://forums.xisto.com/ then you do not have to change all the links. -
Who Is Considering Switching?
-=Wrighty=- replied to MajesticTreeFrog's topic in Websites and Web Designing
The Mac is certainly catching up at the moment, its getting cheaper and better all the time.I may sometime consider it as it is looking very good and promising, But for me its the Windows, easy to use and cheap.Although, I'm not really looking for a new computer as my family are low on cash and my old Windows 98 is good enough for us and we don't have to do many hard things, if we do I just go to school and do it there. -
Google is most definitely the most popular search engine and it will stay that way. No-one can keep up, MSN isn't even second, Yahoo is.I agree with OpaQue as https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=BwkjVKfAD8uH8QfckIGgCQ&gws_rd=ssl is very easy to type and you get used to put. So is yahoo, as its easy to type, but isn't first as it doesn't have as many websites in its directory. It all depends on the name to be honest.

Cpanel is now becoming common in free hosting now. Its great really, it gives easy use of your account. But really, Fantastico is great for installing foreign scripts like 4images. They are very hard to install and use. But a lot of the things it installs aren't really that good. A lot of the time I have to install my own things. But for the things it does install it is great.

Which Is Faster? Dsl Or Cable? Which is faster???
-=Wrighty=- replied to sydney28th's topic in Computer Networks
To what I have heard, Cable and DSL are probably the saem, but really it depends on your Downsteam and Upstream rate, the bigger they are, the faster your connection. SO that is what really decides it, not whether it is cable or dsl. -
God's Role In Natural Disasters Gods warning or Nature at work?
-=Wrighty=- replied to hashbang's topic in General Discussion
I think it was just nature as there was hundreds of thousands of innocent people who died and only a small number on them, if any would have done something bad. -
Who has The Frozen Throne? And what are all your B-Net Accounts? I think its a great game but lately I haven't played it much, I was introduced to the game by The 2002 World Champion. He is an amazing play, I beat him at all the custom maps though.

Correct, I think IE, Opera, Mozilla and Firefox take up around 90% of users. With some browsers taking up 2-3% each and then all those obscure brosers take up only 1% on their own. Its hard to tackle as there is so many of them. I guess we may just have to ask other people we know to test out our sites on these browsers and not just ourselves.

New Reputation Thing What do you all think?
-=Wrighty=- replied to Darren1405241470's topic in Web Hosting Support
I think its great. I gives everyone something to work for as I think the number of posts should not matter it is the quality not the quantity. So the members with the best reputation are the best members in my eyes rather than the ones with the largest post count. -
Welll, I myself did not use this, but I advise it for people learning HTML. I've had a quick flick through it, its a great book. Try "HTML for 4 DUMMIES!" or its sometimes known as just "HTML 4 DUMMIES!". Its a great book, really useful and packed with all the basics and extras, so I say you should get that then just move onto more things, its at most libraries.

phpBB is easiest to skin and good in that sense. But you can have a lot more freedom when skinning IPB, although its harder, you can do so many more things. I'm not too good at either but these are not really my skills. So to answer your question, phpBB is easier to skin but, IPB it better.

Photoshop VS Fireworks For web design...
-=Wrighty=- replied to Reiji Kurosaky's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I love photoshop, it can do basically anything. Signatures, Avatars, Web-Designs. All sorts really. Its a great piece of software, it takes a while to get used too but once you have you can make some amazing pieces.I use photoshop for most of a piece then I use Fireworks and Paint Shop Pro for the rest, they are all good but photoshop can do most things and therefore gets my vote. -
Swish Animation Software.
-=Wrighty=- replied to ThinkEr1405241472's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I have the full version of Swish, its very good, easy to use but too basic for my likeing. I do advise less advanced users to use this software though, its very good.I guess you can do more advanced things in swish if you put your head to together. -
Well I think iframes are quite useful. They are easy to use for the webmaster and look quite nice if well designed and used. You don't have to continually copy your design from one page to another also its quickerloading as you don't have to load the exact same picture over and over again.

There is, it automatically allows you to send HTML emails and also receive them. When you send it detects on its own that its is in HTML and when receiving them you click click on a button and it comes up with the HTML version.

Webmail On My Site How to setup mail on my site?
-=Wrighty=- replied to honmore's topic in General Discussion
There is most definitely a way, which I have used in the past. I'll try and get the script to you as soon as possible. As I have completely forgotten the code and how to do it. I'm quite sure there is a way though. I'll go and search for it now. -
full flash sites good or bad?
-=Wrighty=- replied to r3d1405241470's topic in Websites and Web Designing
well you need flash playe for most things like games so must of the time you will already have Flash Player installed. The thing about coping if good and bad. It means people can't steal your work without having to type it out but you ahve to type it all in yourself is the main problem.
