  1. You might want to try to use one of the following tools:

    - http://www.diskinternals.com/files/NTFS_Reader.exe - This is a program that enables win 98 to read protected NTFS partitions, so if you got a win98 disc lying around...

    - http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ - Allows you to read that partition

    - http://www.ntfs.com/products.htm - same as above

http://www.ubcd4win.com/ - this is a boot cd also, in case above things don't work

    Good luck with it

  2. lowest response times were 8 ms with a benq lcd i think.High contrast ratio? do you mean brightness, a high brightness level is good because that lights up dark levelsI thought that response times below the 10 were good for gaming.Myself,I love CRT, big fast and got used to it.

  3. OR

You could try download the game through YUM..

That's a kind of download-install-manager from Red Hat, you first need to setup a yum.conf first though

    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

This is about basic usage of yum

You need to add repo's to the yum.conf, that means you have to find the /etc/yum.conf file and edit it.

    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

You can find a list of repos here, all you need to do is add them to the file specified above.

If the game exists, all you need to do is

    yum install ...gamename...

then yum will automaticaly download and install the files you need. Works excellent
