you don't have to KNOW php to use php... i mean, it may be cool to code your own scropts.. but don't forget there are a lor of scripts on the web, free ones...for ex:u can use the script jipman gave us... all you have to dou is create an html page (you can do it using note pad, and saving it feedback(or anything).html and create an php page in the same way... i have attahced the example..you can use the file name u want, just make sure the <form action="feedback.php" method="post">.php matches de the name of the line code of the htmlPS: I haven't got the chance to test jipman's code

danagym, waht's you native language??? mine's spanish...And about the template... well, i know how to design my own site... the problem is i'm not very good with the ccs... the stylesheet.. i don't quite get it...that's the reason i don't have MY OWN design... although the one i use i fairly modified...

I actually don't know wich one gives more security.. but i also know.. not averybody uses an e-mail program... most people use webmail... so those visitors won't be able to send the form... with php or cgi that's not a problem... the visiter push "submit" and that's all they got to know... when u design, you have to imagine all your visiotr as newbies, or many people may get confused... (i don't know if that's well written, my native language is spanish)PHP is excelent, i think... So, i would rather send it through php (you know you'll get it)

ok... i think i have to clear something out first.. i do use a template... i have modified it to acomodate my necesities.. plain html...for examplo, the center divided block are supposed to be in the booton, not at the top.. stuff like taht...and the grafics.. well, ia have had a bad ecperience with taht.. as you can see, the page has a lot of contents.. and a higly imaged deisgn would make it too slow... web surfers hate that!!! i personally do.. but it is still a good point.. i need more grafics.. notes takenand why at superihost... cause i was getting my 50.. etc post first... and i'm not at home, i can't migrate the portal yet

pbolduc, the script you posted sends the mail using a mail configured account (pre-configured on the visitors e-mail), that's why i don't think it's a good method for posting..the php feedbakc is a better option...

ok, i configured an account in outlook using the option at my cpanel (in Xisto) and it worked pop3 and smtp is mail.rapco.astahost.com but.. (question) when i entered the cpanel option for MX (i didn't know waht MX meant.. now i know that's Mail Exchanger) it says this: shouldn't it say : mail.rapco.astahost.com ??????

ok, i can get an aswer for kaiseren.superihost.com for ex: (that's one my hosts)..but when i try rapco.astahost.com it says it can connect.. taht mean asatahost doesn't have SMTP ???????????????oh, how can i configure my smtp in my cms using the kaiseren.superihost.com ??????

How do i know if my hosting server allows me to use SMTP....The thing is I use XOOPS (my cms).. so, i haven't been able to send messages to mail inboxes through the page..... my guess is.. something about the server.. how can i test it?
