Source Firefox is planning to launch "Firefox OS" in mobile by 2013. Firefox OS will launch smart-phones built on open web standards where everything will be HTML5 application starting from phone's dialing compatibility to email app everything. Firefox OS will have to compete with Android as its already ruling the mobile phones. It should provide much more services than android to succeed in the long techy run. Is there any need of fully open source, HTML5 mobile OS when we already have an Android? All the best Firefox is what I can say.

Windows 8 - Another good invention by Microsoft. This new version of Microsoft works on Desktops(personal,hone and business), laptops, tablets. Its been created using HTML5 and Javascript. Its home screen is just like big touchable panels like that of in windows 7 phones. From here you can manage your applications by just tapping onto it. Under that you will view the old windows features like the old taskbar, file manager and all.Windows 8 have a very nice feature where you can view two applications at a time which no other existing tablet OS have.People may require a bit of time and patience to get used to a new change. I remember how a minor change in the facebook interface would take time for me to get used to it.

Yes Quatrux, I completely agree with you. It would be nice if all the people around the world speak one common language, but they should also try and preserve/retain language of their hometown. There is no doubt that the way of speaking a particular language changes as the time passes by. If you compare ancient english language and the english language which we speak now, it is changed. Right?But the main concern here is that people should be able to communicate and understand each other well.Language plays a very important role in every humans life. The way one speak, their actions or their choice of words used to communicate describes its attitude towards the person he/she is speaking to. English is a very plain language where sometimes we cannot show utmost respect with our words. Its same for all(elders, seniors, etc) while in some languages, there are words by which we can show respect and gratitude towards the person whom we are speaking to. So, whatever language you speak, your choice of words makes a big difference.

Internet is used to connect, share information, transfer data, etc globally. It is a global system of interconnected computer networks which use TCP/IP model and allow billions of users to connect worldwide. Internet is also referred as network of networks.Ethernet allows us to connect to different computers for transmitting from one computer to another for local area network. It is basically a physical cable which is used to connect computers to other computers or to any router. There are many different kinds of ethernets available. The transmission speed depends on the type of ethernet used. For eg : 10BASE-T provides transmission speed upto 10 Mbps while 100 BASE-T provides transmission speed upto 100 Mbps.

Namespaces are basically used to organize your code. Its main goal is to create a hierarchical organization of the program and it also assists in avoiding the name clashes between the different sets of code.In .net, all programs are created with default namespace which is global namespace. A program can have any number of namespaces but each namespace should have a unique name.

Source Alan Turing, the genius computer scientist, born on 23rd June 1912 must have been 100 years old today. He is no doubt the father of computer science. He has played an important role in making the modern computer by invention of turing machine. Alan was homosexual which was illegal back in 1950's in UK and due to this he was taken to court which affected his career and his life. He died in 1954 when he was about to turn 42. Some say that he had committed suicide but his mother believe that it was an accident. In 2009 the government apologized, but what's the use when the genius has already suffered a lot through this? Don't you think being dragged to court for being homosexual might have hurt Alan and this was the main cause for the glitch in his career and his life?

Source This act of google is indeed fantastic. Google is always trying to do good things in some or the other way. It is really very important that all the ancient languages should be preserved as our history depends on these ancient languages. Preserving these languages is like preserving our culture. There are some people who think that the whole world should speak only one common language (mainly english) because this will ease the gap of communication. Using only one language may help reducing boundaries and exchanging their ideas in a better way. What do you think? Is it a good initiative or is this useless?
