  1. Source Alan Turing, the genius computer scientist, born on 23rd June 1912 must have been 100 years old today. He is no doubt the father of computer science. He has played an important role in making the modern computer by invention of turing machine. Alan was homosexual which was illegal back in 1950's in UK and due to this he was taken to court which affected his career and his life. He died in 1954 when he was about to turn 42. Some say that he had committed suicide but his mother believe that it was an accident. In 2009 the government apologized, but what's the use when the genius has already suffered a lot through this? Don't you think being dragged to court for being homosexual might have hurt Alan and this was the main cause for the glitch in his career and his life?
