  1. What I don't like about the internet are the endless scams, spyware, popups, and viruses. But the scams are what bothers me the most. Scams look so legitamite, yet they are so fraud, I just can't stand them when I see one. But those e-mails from some country in Africa askingfor me to hold money for them are quite funny
  2. Google ALL the way! Its Quick Clean and Simple and you can find literally anything on google, info, pictures and alotta others things. AND they provide things like Gmail which is the best web-mail ive encountered along with googletalk which is still beta so not much with it yet.
  3. Yes Geocities is more of a beginners thing...I dont really find the ads to be too long of a load, but i have highspeed so it may be different if you have dial -up.Geocities is alright for doing a page REALLY quick as its very easy to use..but like reatum said you can't do anything with javascript or anything besides html.
  4. Very simple and very basic...The text needs work the background is very very plain and the render isnt the greatest.
  5. Pretty good The cross light is ok althought it is alittle too bright right in the middle conparing to the rest of the image. The text is also alittle hard to read, you might want to lighten up the text layer abit.
  6. People just dont know how harmful some of those things are..and they really dont know that they get spyware and such from clicking links like that and those phony "You've won Blah blah" and on top of that alot of spyware is unnoticable to people like that. Like Arigato said its lack of education.
  7. Although I save every e-mail that I get (excluding spam) I still can't get past the 2% mark....
  8. I personally liked Star Wars Episode 3, because it's the movie where all chaos erupts, everyone dies, and Palpatine becomes ugly....It's the most violent of the series, and I like it because of that!
  9. Wow! Shows everyone that a free host CAN last! I'm sure staying here...
  10. Maybe they'll be inside a wrapper or something, and then that way, the freshness is sealed....and when you eat it it's not dirty.....so you take the wrapper off, and eat!
  11. You need to enter a SMTP server. If you put in a SMTP server address, then you may need a user name and password.
  12. It might be useful for government purposes....or some thieves sneaking around pirated software!!!! Just think- if there was some ultra-sensitive data, or pirated software, and the enemy/police was drawing near, chomp, chomp, the evidance is gone!
  13. I also used to use Linux, but like you said, there were NO applications that were useful for me! I couldn't even find a driver for my network card! Even if I found an application, it took me like a day to figure out how to install it....It was a good file server until I was just fed up and went back to Windows....
  14. I would buy a book, go to w3schools.com, or Google the internet for a tutorial. It's bound to come up with some good results. Good luck
  15. Since Opera is now free, it may gain some share in the browser industry, and maybe take away some of IE's with it...
