In reality it is better to create your own stuff then using copyrighted material. So 1 it will not label your band as a copycats if you plan to go mainstream and 2 it will help the record scouts determine if you got skill.Also don't play one type of music it good to mix yourself into different types usually that will help in what your most good at and who knows you could mix the styles for a new sound. Of course don't get your hopes up for that new sound though.Also it will help determine what kind of metal band you are:-Heavy Metal-grunge-straight rockI know their is more then that but can't think of anything else.I would really worry about legal issues until you become notice. So like shadow said, look for clubs and what not that are looking for bands to play. Also it would be good to find battle of the bands type stuff . So as to compare your band ot others.

I would work with the background color just a bit and maybe the color of the text but everything else looks good.

well to make this quick I would have to go with samma its better designed but lacks some stuff the I posted earlier about.Samma has my vote.5-0 samma

I see Saint_michael entered another battle with the same sig, trying his luck i guess...anyways.Like in my last post the thing that Saint_michael lacks is depth and border in his sig but everything else was ok.But since he is taking on someone else i will have to look at samma sig. Well i see several things that i don't like about samma sig, for one the trash colored background it looks unpleasent to see, to many colors and alot of grey colored background, I would have stayed with a couple of colors and fill it out completly. The text even though it goes well with the grunge look, it just need something more. With the render though i think it was a poor choice the laser beam i guess that comes out doesn't improve the color at all.Saint_michael has my vote.2-3 Saint_michael

hmm this looks like a tough choice to me both look excellent in design, but what i think that if the image with the flag behind the wrestler would look better not animated, due to the second image being in their the background took away from it just a bit.with Saint_michael's though even though the colors, render, text look nice the lack of depth and border suggest otherwise that this was not was thought out and made effectivly.But at overall quality i would have to say Saint_michael gets my vote.1-5 Saint_michael

the colors work nicely with this gift sig the only thing that could be better is the text and the second line of text looks a little pixelated as well. but the coloring of the render looks good with the background colors.

i see some pretty good sigs for this tournament but its a toss up between truefusion and samma both are well detailed and had much thought put into them but i will vote for samma for this one, the colors run more smoothly together that bring out the atractiveness to it good job samma. Notice from rejected: This will not count, Saint_Mike is using this as his clone account.

hmm interesting like its an old school controller which doesn't make sense in todays world i wonder what kind of games will be amed just for this controller.

im sorry about not post as much busy busy busy as usual. but i see some very good designs for this challange looks like people put in some thought to these.Well i will start my comments now.snlidude87- I don't know why but i canno see your for some reason, in my browser i see that your image is the only one loading. so i can't really comment on yours.saint_michael-very interesting design you have going on, it makes up for the lack of the text you put on here, but the image you are using has a nice shiny glow to it almost like the sun is reflecting off the body armor, but it makes up for the lack of depth in the overall render that you use.trufusion-very nice job as usual from what i seen of your sigs that you design, the only problems i see with it is the the text and image that the use of the text is great but i think the orange or yellow color would have went with the black surrounding you gave it, also the use of the render gives it a flat look to it, and the background doesn't help that much either.blue0016- I would say a good effort but lacks what the sigs i have seen on this SOTW, the brushing is the only good part except for when you brushed on the render itself, text is flat and doesn't really stand out that much.Avalon- I dunno i like the blur effects on the renders but the background doesn't look that appealing to me and the little tech brush you have on it doesn't help that much sorry could be better.Samma-not bad one of the best i seen so far in this group of sigs, everything runs nice and smooth, except for the 2 grey spots on the top and the bottom, also i think the ball could have used a motion effect on it to give it the effect that it is in motion from being fired.well this is a tough one saint-michael, trufusion and samma are the better of the rest (that i could see)...I choose saint-michaelSaint Michael-2Trufusion-1Avalon-1i think i got the scores right, good luck on the rest of the votes.

For me i try to mix as much fruit as possible and tend to get away from the sugar, but I'm guilty of putting enough sugar to get the wonderful taste to make it sweet.

interesting use of tech brushes, curious what kind of time did you spend on making these sigs.? and what kind of points could you give to some trying to break out in graphical designing.

well its more like want to learn how it is done i have a good eye for graphical design, just want to learn how to do it and what programs I hear alot of adobe photoshop from what i seen on these graphic forums. I did make a post earlier in the Sig of the week contest always wanted to do some voting and I did, i think that is good right.well xhtml is trimmer and stricter form of html, that is heavily used for xml documention for server side content and database stuff. By stricter i mean that they got rid of alot of coding that's obsolete.well no I don't live in a german castel rent it to High LOL!!! well lets just say trying to stay warm was pretty hard to come by, by yeah i would have to agree that it would be cool to live in one.

Yes i would have to agree with BuffaloHELP, the Cpanel itself is connected to alot of information mostly databases like MySQL and FTP for example all you need is these locations and you can gather alot of information and then use it to break down individual websites, and from what I gather here you have alot of people using this service and all it would take is the right person to find the wrong info.But on the goodside it give us people who are getting ready to get thier accounts an idea on what all the features are on Xisto.com, can't wait to see the rest of the inner workings of the Cpanel.

well for me I'm into earlier european history, dark ages i like the best so any websites that bring up new information during these times i click excitedly about.Sometimes i go to sports since American football, its very agressive, and exciting like hockey.

that looks good, i have a question it was always in the back of my mind but whats with the light blue background? i could never figure that one out when i saw these kind of images.but that is a nice cut correct me if im wrong on that term, but i do believe that its like a half breed of orc/orge, could never really get the difference between the two since both are ugly in their little ways, but where could i get other images like this, been awhile since i had a folder for images, ever since my computer crashed on me.

yeah i would have agree the problems have yet to begun, from what i hear a day or so ago the ruscue cres where getting fired upon by the people at the stadium which is uncalled for, and of course your hearing all news about people stealing stuff that they don't need like tvs, vcr's, and electronics, if it were me i would have gone for food and clothes like some people have. but again what makes it worse the police had no control over them until the military was called up.but what irks me the most was the lack of response time for this, and of course the racism, thats being toss around as well on news station.Then of course the way the dead are being treated as well, being tossed aside like wasted food.But then again very few nations outside North American have help and whats really surprising is that those who were hit by the tsunamis and are giving some money to the U.S gorvernment to help out, that surprised me right there. well hopefully the gas prices start dropping, because already alot of gas stations are bone dry and that makes the prices go up even more, but then again some people are being crooked about this as well. It should be interesting what happens in the next few months.

welcome i guess i just got here my self had to wait a fews to get back in but from what i am hearing has some good stuff, from what i saw which might help me out in the long run.

well i use to pay per clicks awhile back but when the profit was coming back low i stop and decided to work on my web design skills and use them to get the better profit.

well i thought i start off my first reply here, i seen quite of a few of these forums with this sig of the week contest, had some good looking designs hopefully i can show off my talents. since im trying to get a hosted account here.well i have to say their is some impressive stuff, not as good at other websites i have seen but just as good, so i will go down the list of the entriesSaint-Michael- well i see where you were going with the motion blur i seen quite a few of those, some good some bad, yours is ok, the color looks good with it, but the brushing and the font kind of noobish, could have been better.Snlildude87- gotta say not bad nice choice of colors, brushing even though its a nice et of colors could make the render stand out just a bit more since you made it the primary focus, the color looks good but to much of the render is cut off, im not to fond of the text choice though, to stretched out.Blue0016-well what strikes me the most is the lack of color cordination, you have dark colors, contrasting with light ones, and thats usually a rookie mistake from what i have seen here and other site you want to use the colors of the render as much as possible but use enough lighter area's to give it depth. i would have gone grunge with the render that you used, the abstract doesn't help much. the text even though unique, i would have work on it some more.Mayank-well the text pretty much ruined it, you use to many different font styles to make it effective, i see you tried less the often used pixel stretch, or by the looks of it you use the wind blast filter and then then tried to blur it out a bit, i wouldn't have done it like that. and the tech brushes being used on this doesn't help with this sig at all either. the render could have be used more effectively as well. brushing you need more work from the looks of it.Frozen-well i know you by reputation only and thats about it, but from what i have seen from your sigs, they are well thought out and well designed, especially this one. it looks like your trying to make the the render come out of the background, which is cool, the text looks good where its at but the only thing that nags me about it all the black space around it, some sigs i have seen people put something there to fill it up just a little bit with out ruining it, but still the rest of it makes up for it.Sprite-now for the last contestant, I see you where going for a grunge/a little bit of tech/and a little bit of abstract, which is good but the bright blue takes away from it though, it almost look like the blue is on top of everything, which makes it stand out to much and drawing away from the rest of the sig itself, the render looks grunge like which helps it out just a bit, but not enough, and those little lines that you use are good up to the point it hits the blue then it looks broken up (can't think of the word to discribe it).well those are my thoughts about the sigs but i would have to choose Saint-Michael for my vote.good luck with the other contestants.
