If staff at YAHOO! was going to email me, they would use the ones thats listed in their help pages...Yahoo! staff wouldn't need your id and password..... they already have it and pretty much don't even truly need it to do any changes to anything.....and a ping? This pretty much gives away your IP address and reveals your location... so he could log into yahoo! as you maybe masking his true IP address with yours, cause havoc, and you would be the one getting the blame.... EEP!Never ever give out your passwords nor your IP address to anyone.....

I also use Zone Alarm and it has saved me greatly.I have once downloaded a file, scanned with AVG 7 free... nothing detected... clicked it and BAM, HIDDEN TROJAN VIRUS ACTIVE!Good thing zone alarm denied its many attempts to connect while I removed it... but it wasn't enough. It had disabled my registry editor and task manager..... but thanks to system restore and going back a few days... (nothing important was lost... *whew*) All was ok.Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware SE are great tools in getting rid of spyware..... but I recommend that you give SpySweeper a try as well. I did and it found a trojan on my computer which wasn't active, but my AVG, Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware SE did not detect it.I hate spyware and all those sneaky things that try to do stuff on your computer without you knowing.

10 Yr Old Girl Becomes Microsoft Qualified no bs
crapoartworks replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
Thats amazing indeed, but I have always found Microsoft to be evil. The software is always bugged and theres always a new fix or patch for some bug that I haven't heard of, nor encountered ever. They want to take over the internet, and the world as well. I just haven't found a way to prove this yet...__________________________________Earlier that day...Me:"Bill Gates, are you trying to take over the world?"Bill Gates:"Yes. Er, I mean..."Me:"AHA!"Case solved. __________________________________But jokes aside, its cool that there are some kids out there that are going pro. -
Geocaching this is not your average treasure hunt
crapoartworks replied to BuffaloHelp's topic in General Discussion
Geocaching sounds interesting, but the first time seeing this word, I figured it was some new feature Yahoo! Geocities invented. I may have to check this out..... -
Ok, I think I can help you... Try this website: http://www.draac.com/ , Then click on Javascripts. There are a few things in there that may help you in doing that. :-D I have been visiting that website for years, and I find it very helpful. Its how I learned image mapping.

Security Issue With Ctrl+c/copy On Clipboard
crapoartworks replied to cse-icons's topic in Security issues & Exploits
Now for me, I only know bits of javascript like javascript:window.close(); and javascript:history.go(-1); but what you posted above looks very scary. I hate to think if something was logging my clipboard..... -
