  1. Thank You so much BooZker. Great work over there. I will inform you if i need any changes to be made to them. Thanks again...
  2. I have used filefornt and i do think it is one of the better hosting services of late . They seem to have quite iompressive bandwith amount and more importantly they dont seem to annoy users by imposing limits that seem to be stupid. For those sick with Rapidshare ,megaupload,... definitely filefront would be a better place to move. And i believe we can also have a personalized accout where you get to see your stats and other info. And they even rank peoples accounts. Their services extend to blogs and image hosting. So i would say filefront is more than a file host.
  3. One of the most irritating file hosts you can catch these days. Seriously, what could you do when you get a restriction to downlad 24x7. Yeah, its true. These days i always get the message "All 500 Download slots assigned to your country are in use.So please try again later". But wait ...we have a compensation !!! Yeah ,you can proceed to your download if you install an Alexa toolbar. Alright. When i saw this and made up my mind to live with that crap, yet another thing to annoy you . The Alexa Toolbar is limited to Internet Explorer. So for all those firefox users ,it might be a better idea to forget about megaupload and mive on to some other filehost. If you still want to go ahead with this piece of crap you well might do it. THE BOTTOMLINE : Megaupload Sucks !!!!
  4. Xr4free ??? Well let me think. I had signed up with them for some blog service. And is it easy to get hosted with them ?? Well,i dont think so. I faced a couple of problems which i dont remmember now. But certainly i did not have a smooth experience with xr4free !!
  5. I have seen Godaddy's domain plans and they were the cheapest i have ever seen. When i read how they could afford it,they had stated that ,at Godaddy they cut off some luxury on their part and give us cheaper domains. Those guys working at Godaddy dont seem to get expensive furnitures, desks, and other "unwanted" goodies at work and that's been reflected in the price at which they give off the domains. Quite Impressive !!!!!!!
  6. First of all hats off to google for starting the 1GB mailbox trend. Yahoo has caught up and Gmail as always has gone a step further throwing 2GB mailbox space at us. Obviously,we wont be using all those space for our mails.Unless of course you are being flooded by spammers or you've subscribed to quite a number of newsletters. The best way to use that space would therefore be by making it an online storage box. But Gdrive is already out. And i dont think google developed it. Anyway, Gdrive might help users go a long way by keeping all their data in quite a safe place. And one can also go in for multiple gmail accounts. What does that mean ??? One can have GB's of space to store your files online with Gdrive coming. If you havent got a copy of Gmail Drive yet ,go and catch it over here .... http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm
  7. I had used google web accelerator of late. Seriously i did not like it. It was a piece of crap just occupying somevaluable portion of your browsers. I personally hate stuff like web accelerators, toolbars and similar stuff.
  8. Someday there has to be a car that can fly, float on water . And i dont think those days are very very far away. So that would lead upto air traffic controll as well. And once they commercialise cars that run on water ,maybegas stations on sea might start creeping up, Well,am i getting my imaginations a bit tooo loose ??? They might look like a fantasy, but are never impossible. Would be invented in course of time. Maybe w could enjoy the "water car" for the moment...
  9. Alright, here are the two options that i use. When using Internet explorer use a software called Aevita Save Flash. You can get it from http://www.aevita.com/sitemap/ . If this one doesnt suit you try googling. There are tons of such tools for Internet Explorer. If you are a Firefox user, then go to Tools -->PageInfo---->Media. This will display all the media files associated with the page. If you navigate through it you'll be able to find the swf you need. And you're done when you have located it .Just save it to your hard disk and thats it..
  10. Well, it happens with many of us at school. Sometimes you have to accept whatever they order you to do . Right or wrong you have to cope up with the problem. One simple advice to you. ?Try ignoring him and enjoy your school. these kind of situations may make school seem like a hell.I experienced similar situation during my school days. But the best thing you've gotta do is ,ignore that particular staff and get along with your work. Just dont think about him. The more you think about him the more irritated you are prone to become. And more importantly, you have to live with it whether you like it or not.
  11. Google would be the obvious answer. Yahoo has been outstanding in its own ways, but i think Google is a pioneer. Remember, yahoo used to give 4MB storage space for its mail users. But when Google introduced Gmail, yahoo was forced to increase its storage quota to 25MB,250MB and now we have 1GB. So maybe if google starts developing browsers or an OS !!!! we would have quality emerging among other brands too. It is the fear that google evokes aming competetors that makse google soo special.PS: GOOGLE ROCKS !!!
  12. Well, Targeted ads are ads that match the contents of your website right ?? And Google does serve targeted ads. It also lies in the hands of the publisher. The better he can meddle with the html the better the targeted ads will be.
  13. I leave my computer on almost 24x7. I download stuff all time and am reluctant to turn it off. I have removed my cabinet cover and placed a small table fan near it to cool it off. Have a couple of cpu fans to do the job better. Let's see... If i ever get to experience the consequences i'll let you know. But So far,..Sooooo Good....
  14. I have a 128 Kbps line from Airtel India. The services have been pretty good tilll date. I am planning to shift to a better bandwith scheme of late. I have been making maximum use of the connection by downloading stuff 24x7 . So good worth for money i guess...
