Have you all heard the latest you can no longer use bankruptcy for the purpose of which it was initially intended for which is in a no choice situation have no way to pay off all your debts so you claim it and have to wait 7 yrs for a clean credit history.....as of today if you claim bankruptcy you know have to set up a payment plan to pay back the money you claimed you weren't going to be able to pay in the first place.Kinda of defeats the purpose of bankruptcy in my opinion. I mean if I am going to have to repay you with payment plans then I will call you up and arrange such a thing to begin with. Sounds logical if i know i can do it in time via payment plans then that is the route i would go. only reason to claim bankruptcy as i stated above is simple I don't have and won't have the money to pay my debts off.just something i wanted to complain about i guess lol.

actually an occasional reboot is all your computer needs in essence...it has been shown on electric meters that turning it on actually creates a surge of power equal to leaving the machine on for extended periods of time. I leave my machine on 24/7 and reboot once every 2 days, i never have speed problems, or program "lag" so to speak. I do and always will however even though i have UPS back up during thunder storms with lightning turn my machine off and unplug it from the wall. it is my lifestyle and my connection to the work world. I can't afford the surge to blow my machine even if the surge protectors come with a "insurance policy" so to say.Just my 2 cents...i think it is more a matter of preference then a matter of what is good / bad good and/or bad things come from doing either or.

I dont think it is my connection as I have 461kb/s down and avg about 127 kb/s up supposed to be 256 but we all know that doesn't happen often lol, i will try the un marking of keep connection alive that could be it.Also with my connection so you know what I do with it I play various online games and have no trouble staying connected to them either and sometimes play them for 3-4 + hrs at a time.

I play the he double hockey sticks out of some fantasy games period, but i have active subscriptions to Everquest 1, Everquest 2, World of Warcraft, & Star Wars Galaxies I have beta'ed for Guild Wars, and Gates to Heaven, played Knight Online as well.Fantasy games give you more the ability to break away from real life which is nice as long as you can differentiate between the 2 some people have that problem lol.So I am with the majority so far which is Fantasy style games. I can go into details on each MMO that is out there but I will leave that for another thread at another time.

not to get down on you but why did you choose the one of the worst content filled mmo's on the market to date. I played it for about a month and alot of the features were cool and such i will give it that. but it has been out almost a year if not a year and no content released patches, or publishes, or expansions have been released yet. For that same amount of money you can Play World of Warcraft which has about 1000 times more content, granted the character creation may not/isn't as in depth as some others out there but when you get down to it isn't it the replay ability and the ability to hold your interest longer then a month that really counts in the end?The reason me and 3 of my friends quit playing CoH was because of how lacking in the content area it was.just my 2 copper on the situation.

Hey all how you doing? Well here is what is going on and what program I use.First the Program is Filezilla a free open source FTP client that you can get from sourceforge.I have the program set to keep alive connection which what that does is the program sends random commands like ls or directory commands to keep the connection alive to avoid timeouts.Here is the problemWhen i am logged in either deleting files and setting up for a new setup or layout i get timeouts regularly like every 3-4 mins or so and when I am uploading the same thing happens. Any input as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.

What the person who commented on fails to realize that is taking care of a big bug called player based economy when farmers come in there and sell item drops for large amounts of game money that is absurd people think this is a fair price and then follow suit therefore causing a huge influx on the games economy and causing basically a depression due to inflation.The money farmers 95% of the time are bots or scripting programs that run and cause characters to do a certain thing or kill certain mobs over and over therefore causing camping of mobs that may be needed to complete quests and what not. World of Warcraft has the least amount of downtime compared to the other "new" release MMORPG's and has the least amount of bugs. They have a few I won't deny but none that are game stopping or causing a huge depressions such as these money farmers create.I am glad they are banning the accounts they should take it one step further and ban the ip addresses via their service provider to cut down on them buying another game and creating a new account after all they are making money off this and probably able to do as such easily.There are other things they could do to correct the situation but it would take more time and a revamping of the games economy to create the fixes which would in turn create a bigger downtime for the game as whole when they can pay one person to conduct these ebay investigations and carry out the trades to catch the person red handed and then ban the account accordingly for violation of the EULA and they should also pursue them in the court system for breach of contract or Terms of service (TOS) yes it costs money to do such things but when other money farmers see these actions being taking and the judgments of fines and possible jail time for breaking a legally binding contract maybe they will stop without being forced to do so.Just my 2 copper as they say in the mmo's

Communications can never completely go down unless they find someone to shut everyone in the world up at the same time taking away our ability to speak. But the other means such as the internet, phone, and mailing system went down we probably have bigger problems at hand then worrying about that and would need to focus on that first then worry about the other stuff. I wouldn't stress to much as it would just take me back to the days of Pencil & paper RPG's like Dungeons and Dragons stuff like that woot. Remember those days lol.

Everyone makes mistakes if you looks at odomikes post count he is a very contributing to the forums and apparently has alot of information/input or chatting that he does here. Everyone makes honest mistakes which I think this was i have only talked to odomike a few times myself and he comes across as a sincer genuine person who intentions are to help who he can when he can.Sorry your got rode on so hard for this bro hope things look up for ya.

Hello all was wondering if anyone recieved an email saying their hosting has been suspended? I received and email today and when i came here and checked my hosting credits i have 4 to my name it has never but one time dropped below 0. Was this email in error? if so can we get it fixed please. below is the email quoted. or is it spoof email and to be ignored? Usually Opaques signature is at the bottom of the rest of the emails i have recieved from trap. If so then we need to bust the person doing the spoofing. Here is where the return email is to go to Return-Path: <Xisto@dasher.psychz.net> It doesn't give a return address IP but i can give you a copy of the report i get if it is false and being spoofed.

I have beaten all the Final Fantasy's and 9 is good with the newer graphics and such I like the cut scenes and the end movie as well that they play for you. But my favorite is final fantasy 7. I can't say why i just enjoy it the most. Seems everytime i play i always come back to it for some reason even if just to play it for an hour or so. I am looking forward to the next title in the final fantasy saga and can't wait to try it out.

I can't say that I have one favorite as I have played many RPG's and love the genre. but i will list the ones i did like.1) Final Fantasy the whole series minus FFX2 they completly left the final fantasy feel by switching it to an all female playable cast and switching it to a female feel type of set up switching stuff to dress spheres and what not.2) Dungeons and Dragons- I have played this since it was on paper back in the late 80's and have continued to play them since they have started releasing on the computer.3) Lord of the Rings series of games.4) MMORPG's- Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest 1, Everquest 2, WoW, (beta) Gates to Heaven. I enjoy all of these and play each one at least a little bit a month.

I will say this till the day I die due to how many virus's nortons as let slide by and same with mcaffee as compared to AVG they are system resource intensive hog programs that can be alleviated by uninstalling them. First thing I do whenever i work on someones Dell and they ask me to use the restore disks I let them know that I personally have seen 6 virus's that nortons and macaffee has let slide by and AVG has not let one by on testing I have done. And inform them that more then likely they will see a gain in computer speed in general due to cutting out processes they use as well.Graphics card upgrade will help your fps as well and maybe a labtop SATA hard drive for the faster transfer of information other then that i can't see anything else standing in your way.Good luck.

there is no behind, most people who do programming find it entertaining in some way, computers are used for various reasons: researching, web designing, programming, graphic design, gaming, communications and other reasons I am sure you can all think of. So being behind would really be only if the computer is not up to specs that you need to perform what you do on a dail basis.I myself processor wise am still in the stoneage with 1.0 GHz processor but it plays all my online games that i play such as WoW, EQ1, EQ2 and SWG. So I know I am behind because I could upgrade for better performance but I still can run everything I do so by necessity I am not behind just by want.my 2 cents hehe

Yes you bring up a good topic that is sensitive to many people.The fact has been proven if we wouldn't kill these animals to eat them they would eventually overrun the human population and outnumber us severly. How we obtain the meat is a different story such as I will not ever touch veal, reason being it is a cow that from birth is put into a cage so that it can not move so the muscles (meat) stays tender and is not ever toughened once it hits a certain age it is slaughtered. There can't be to much wrong with it if you remember it says in the bible God gave everything to us to use. As stated how we go about using what is given to us may not be the proper way but it is here for our survival.Look at it this way, yes they don't have a verbal form of communication but vegetarians kill living entities also named plants and those in turn actually make it possible for us to live by putting off oxygen for us to breath the tree's alone can not produce the oxygen the world would need to breath and survive.Both vegetarian & and carnivores (meat eaters) have flawed beliefs in why they eat what they eat. My fiance is vegetarian, now she isn't a Vegan which is no animal products at all but she has cut about 95% of animal products from her diet. I am a meat eater and we get along just fine it costs us more to shop and get our food mainly due to vegetarian items costing alot more then stuff I eat but we understand we each have our own belief's and we share our opinions but that is extent of it neither of us force the others belief's on each other.just my opinion in the post thanks for reading.

I have been playing WoW (World of Warcraft) for about 3 months now I have a Human Warlock level 43 on the Windrunner server various other toons as well but not played as much. The world is very expansive and there are a ton of players to interact with.Someone above said they dont like WoW but prefer counterstrike, see I am the oppossite Counterstrike in my opinion is for keyboard cowboys who want to do nothing else but blow up another person in some form or another, I'm not knocking you for playing CS it just isn't my fortay.As for the monthly subscription fee...look at it this way, to get fully loaded with counterstrike there is like what a new upgrade pack (expansion) that if you want the latest and greatest you have to buy it correct? so your still paying extra money after you purchase the game or your left behind in the dust with mediocre supplies and weapons that others don't even think about using anymore.At least by paying a monthly subscription fee You get constant updates (once a week) to address any bugs with game and glitches that might occur. Where as with say counterstrike if there is a bug/cheat/glitch everyone in there brother can use it and exploit to gain an unfair advantage over others that have no idea about it and it never gets fixed.In the next few weeks WoW is releasing updates to classes and battlegrounds (pvp arena's with quests and such) that will be based on honorable (non cheesey and ganking based on skill not just luck) or dishonorable kills which will help you gain faction with certain cities and towns.I have talked with multiple Level 60s in the game being at this point in time it is the be all end all in the game as far as levels go and each one of them have told me the high end content is awesome and they have yet to get bored at the highest level the game has to offer yet.Blizzard has done an awesome job of interblending alot of warcraft lore into the game and adding characters you have seen from some of their other games that you get to interact with and do quests for as well.The PvP aspect of the game is enjoyable and fun alot more so then the FPS games that I have played that require hardly any skill just pure luck that you mash buttons quicker then the guy at the other end. You have to employ tactics and strategy to raid an enemy townJust my 2cents on WoW and my experience with it. I have played MMORPG's for 5 yrs going on 6 starting with Everquest 1 and continued with Star Wars Galaxies and Everquest 2. Hope this helps.

I have to say I 100% agree with you Amby, people in this world are just getting worse as the days go on. They keep wanting more and more and wanting to give less and less people are such idiots to assume that something is going to be given and nothing ever in their whole life be given back or to pass it on to someone else.Good fortune is only for those who are willing to pass it on when it comes their way.
