Klaatu & Triumph

Bands That Shouldnt Have Broken Up

For those of you too young to remember, Klaatu was a GREAT band that many mistook for the Beatles reunited. What a shame that these guys probably now are working as bank managers in Canada. Likewise, Triumph. They were three guys who could make as much noise as any six-member *BLEEP* band from LA. Tragedy. Morbid, effing tragedy that these bands are all but forgotten.

Which Band Should Have Never Broken Up?

Hands down I would pick Living Colour. Come on, we all know the guitar lines and the heavy bass and Reid's awesome vocal range. According to a website on their history, they keep getting back together anyway. Everytime I hear one of their songs I get ready to punch things or mosh. Good times. Miss 'em.

Back in the day some of the more surprising and disappointing breakups were Led Zeppelin, The Police, and the Sex Pistols. Several long layoffs that sucked were Aerosmith and Def Leppard. Yeah, they came back, but who knew they would at the time. The Creed breakup was unfortunate, but seemed inevitable with Scott Stapp being f'ed up in the head. Alterbridge, which is Creed with a new singer and the original bass player (Scott Stapp hated him) is great. Stapp's solo effort was alright, but the new band didn't rock as hard.
