Screen Resolution Setting For Mandriva

I want to change screen resolution for my mandriva installation. I am not able to find setting for it.I have almost wasted very much time. Please, help me to get rid of this problem. It is really weird to have screen smaller than original size.

As far as I remember, it's in the settings menus, something like "X11 configuration".

No, it's not easy with command lines because several files have to be modified, that's why you have to find the X11 settings menu.

Thanks Yordan for suggesting me the exact term to search for the settings. I am now able to change resolution by following the steps provided at following link.

It was really much easy to change resolution by using "Mandriva Control Center". And of-course it have command as well that is "Drakx11" .

what kind of video card are you using on this setup? might pay to install driver and control panel - its probably a lot easier handling it this way
