Can you advise me how to get Abiword to work on Window XP 3?? Please I want to use the word processing to do resumes??? Is it possible and I would like step by step how to get it going Please. I tested the portable version from http://portableapps.com/apps/office/abiword_portable , it works fine with windows XP. And as it's a portable version, no install, so no compatibility version with Open Office.
Besides this, it has it's own document format, so probably OpenOffice will not directly read the documents, you have to save the documents in a compatible format.
