mahesh2k 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2012 In case of IE the interface is similar to opera and chrome. I guess you have to use the tab unread. I think that is what it says. Once you click on that then it will open unread message even if they are old. I think there is also one tab for the really important messages which are also unread and what google thinks as urgent or important. Can you upload the screenshot of inbox by hiding the messages and email id details? Just show the tabs that are available to you via new interface. If that is kind of troubling you on IE then i have another method. You can use m.gmail.com interface. This interface is minimal and lets you browse read and unread and starred messages more quickly. If nothing works use that mobile interface. It opens just fine on desktop or laptop browser and it will show you the unread messages in your inbox. Hope this helps you solve the issue.
