tommyrulez 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 Not sure if this has been addressed. In Vista some commands cannot be ran unless you are an admin. The way around this: right-click the run command-> run as admin and put in admin password.
yordan 10 Report post Posted October 21, 2008 Very nice trick, thanks a lot. I will try this next time I will be a non-admin user on a vista system.By the way, you posted this in the tutorial section. Please remember the first specification for a tutorial, as expressed here : http://forums.xisto.com/topic/6-forum/ 1. The Tutorials have to be of a bare minimum length of 500 words to be accepted.Your text is far below this 500 words threshold. That's why I moved it here, where is most probably it's place.RegardsYordan

xboxrulz1405241485 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2008 Remember, these tricks only work on Windows XP and Vista. Windows 2000 does NOT have a Run As command since Microsoft only included it since XP. xboxrulz
