Spectre 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2004 They don't make it easy - when I first tried to get a site indexed by Google, it took a long time for me to find a link to their URL submission page, and I don't think I found it within Google. It does, however, usually take a while for it to be fully indexed. Shackman 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2004 The best way is to tell your freinds and family about your website. If your website has good content and interesting stuff, people will naturally come. These type of things take time. When I first started out my webpage and forum:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/I also had very little people. A few months down(which is now), I only have 33 registered members in my forum. This goes to show that it is not easy to attract people to your site/forum. It really takes time and patience. Also you might want to try advertising your site or putting advertising on your site.
