Not sure on all my Plan Details, I'm using Road Runner Service in Columbus, Ohio as of nowDownload Speed: 4.89 MbpsUpload Speed: 473.11 kbpsI think my Service Promises about 5 Mbps, so It's pretty close. I may upgrade to Road Runner Premium for another $10.00 and receive 10 Mbps (5 Mbps more) download. However, I wish my upload speed was much higher, its weird that it is so far from the download speed.

Results:

Your service provider: Shaw Cablesystems
Location: My ISP servers are in Calgary, Alberta, but I live in northwestern Ontario.
Plan details: Shaw High-Speed Internet
Upload speed: 447.5 kb/s
Download speed: 2.64 mbps
Promised: 512 kbps upload / ~5 mbps download during non-peak hours
Received: (what does this mean?)
Satisfied: Extremely. It is much, much faster than Shaw High-Speed light and great for downloading large Linux distributions. Other than my network cutting off infrequently, it is awesome!

Your Service provider : At&tLocation : Los Angeles ca USAPlan Details : Basic DSLUp speed : 318.46 kbpsDown speed : 1.25 MbpsPromised : 1.5 MbpsReceived : 1.25 MbpsSatisfied : Well the internet works ok but i do wish it was faster. Plus i am paying way too much for it but since i dont have phone service to costs more. I also have problems sometimes where the ATM drops and cant start up a new connection again. Lately it has been running fine so i think they fixed their problem.

Your Service provider : Rogers Communications Inc.Location : Toronto, CanadaPlan Details : Rogers Yahoo! High Speed ExpressUp speed : 512 kbpsDown speed : 7 mbpsPromised : 7mbpsReceived : 6.98 mbps downstream / 507 kbps upstreamSatisfied : not really because the price is so expensive and Rogers isn't always fast. It's because it's using cable and so it is shared. Sometimes it can drag to 2 - 3 mbps which is horrible for gaming in today's era. However, the competition isn't any better. Bell is known to have crappy customer service, but it does have fibre optics. Unfortunately, it's not available in my area yet.xboxrulz

I think that the Internet speed test hosted at http://www.speedtest.net/ is more reliable because it has a lot of different servers around the world (especially in North America and Europe). It also gives a comprehensive report of your Internet speeds as well as information about other people in your area.

The test provided in this post was hosted on an unknown server in an unknown location and therefore the accuracy of the test is questionable as not many details are known about it.
