Change Default Applications

Recommended Posts

Almost 20 days since I've installed openSuse 10.3 and I'm quite happy with it (except maybe with the low a/v performance ^_^ ). There is one thing tough I can't seem to change and that's the default applications. For example, atm Evince is started when I double click a pdf file, but I want it to open Acrobat Reader instead. Where can change these settings ?

damn, I knew I had to mention it and still I forget to do so ^_^ . I'm using Gnome.//edit: nevermind, I've just found the option ;) . A bit strange place to put it, but right-click a file>properties and over there the 'open with' tab.

Really surprising, indeed. Seems to be exactly the way I proceed with M**crosoft Windows, in Explorer I right click and I push the "open with" box. Quite not normal.
