Did you try following the instruction such as checking the cables? most of the time that is correct in saying check the cables.

Have you used the adaptor before? I am not with DVI and still sticks with VGA but I have lots of experience regarding adpators that wont work.

I have all kinds of adaptors in my army bag except the DVI adaptor. Guess that your monitor is on VGA, does your video card dont have a VGA slot? Most of the time they have both DVI and VGA slot.

Do you have a spare PCI Express or PCI graphics card from another PC and put into this one to make sure the graphics card is working? With todays demands of servers and servers being launched at home, most servers are "headless" meaning no keyboard, mouse or monitor and are remote controlled. The only time a graphics card is needed is during OS installation unless you image so most BIOSes won't care if there's a graphics card or not. You might want to check that graphics card in another machine as well.[N]F

intergrated graphics problemI Cant Get Monitor To Work With New Mobo And Video Card

The last 3 motherboards I have bought ( ASus and Gigabyte), the onboard graphics have not worked. The monitor I have, which I know works fine, just gives that message about "No signal," and the light turns yellow. Very frustrating for me as this is the 4th time I'm attempting to install this MB in a new case I have. The 1 ram stick I have is an Ultra 2gb. I took it out of the slot, and moved it to the other..No good. The fans are all running, the keyboard lights up, the DVD light comes on. The cpu is new.. As the heatsink. All the wires are on exactly as they supposed to be. I don't know what else it could be, and I'm stumped. Any Advice, except RMAing this one too?
