Gran Turismo 5!

For now just the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (The big demo), but soon (hopefully, but maybe not before 2010!) The real, and final GRAN TURISMO 5! Absolutely the best graphics, sound, gamplay, PHYSICS!... Everything
-reply by Mr Hansen

What do you feel is the most realistic driving game? In my opinion Gran Turismo 4 is the best

i agree with you
Gran Turismo 4 has a really cool graphic
but i think Gran Turismo 5 will be a lot better than Gran Turismo 4

As of this moment, there are no truly realistic racing games. But some of the most realistic titles are: Race 07, GTR, Live for Speed, rFactor, Richard Burns Rally, and... that's about it.

The most realistic racing game for is is Live For Speed . I played different simulators like: LFS , GTR2, Racer, Rfactor and LFS for me rocks :o . I have G25 (a racing wheel with gears clutch force feedback etc..)

Why is is that every time SOE (Sony Online Entertainment ) gets the rights to any game they screww it up. Sierra made the most realistic Nascar racing game and because SOE had more money than Sierra the bought the rights and screwed it up, then dropped the game in favor of games made for 8-12 year olds. Same thing with SWG. Lucas had a great SWG games. What happens? SOE buys the right and screwed it up... Shut down 12 server in just a few months.

I played Nascar Racing 2002 and 2003 until SOE took it over and SWG up til the the CU when SOE took it over.

The people with the most money don't always have the best games.

When is SOE going to learn their lesson.

This is a no-brainer!!!Every single gamer who has played a variety of racing simulations games and is comopletely "honest" about it, would HAVE tell you that the Gran Turismo series are by FAR the most realistic. GT series have the best: graphics - game modes - physics - car models - car variety. Also things like the "GT academy" now done for the 2nd time is something other games can't stand against. For those who don't know what the GT academy is, it's a racing competition in which gamers all over the world compete online in time trial and the best of several countries then compete with eachother in head to head races, and finaly the winner gets the chance to achieve a real racing license and then race in a real race, the first time was that the 24 hours of dubai in a nissan 350 Z and the second time (last year) the winner got the chance to race a whole season of the european GT4 league in a nissan 370 Z. There is one thing though I thought they did wrong in the series and that was leaving out a damage engine, but the new GT5 finaly has it. Release date is nov 3th and I'm one of the lucky or rather crazy ones that ordered the "Signature Edition" (€180) with tons of goodies :) .

In my opinion, I believe that Grand Turismo is the most realistic driving game. I play it with my GT Wheel but I find the driving kind of hard. Most of the tests you need to go through to get your license are pretty difficult. Once I hit the IA license, I sort of quit the game because I couldn't pass the tests.

my most favourite and most realistic racing game I have played would be the Grand Turismo series.I never bothered playing the Grand Turismo 1 and 2. When I got my first playstation 2 (when i was a kid) I bought Grand Turismo 3 with it and it was just an Amazing game. It was fun racing together with a friend but the only thing with it was the missions were very hard.I was only a kid when I was playing the game and the missions were hard but when you completed something hard and acheived something that you worked hard to get on the game you feel landed and you will want to play more of the game.Grand Turismo 3 was the best and realistic racing car game in the world in its time (when it was released). After that, other Grand Turismo games came out and they just kept improving, and Grand Turismo has always been a top game for realistic car racing games.I was gutted when I couldn't play my friend with the Grand Turismo 5 because he had a Xbox360, and Grand Turismo 5 was not released for the Xbox. But Grand Turismo has always supported the playstation ;)

playstation fan boysMost Realistic Racing Game

You guys are obv playstation fan boys. As a series GT may be better if you go on length but thats it . You cant compare GT5 to Forza 3 as forza 3 is so old . Yet its tyre dynamics and physics plus aero, suspension and AI physics are realistic. My theory is GT team realised there GT5 was crap compared to forza 3 and thats why it took so long to come out.Thankfully though none of these are as realistic as IRACER , Rfactor or live for speed . These are sims. With a steering wheel and pedals I'm unstoppable on GT5 and Forza. I'm absoloutly pants with these! Now to be fair I don't think you can really play them on a pc and even huge screen as cars at speed want to slide alot. You cant feel weight transfer, you cant feel the breaks are about to lock up or the back wheels hop just as they begin to spin. You hear it or see it but by then its late !
