yordan 10 Report post Posted May 25, 2006 Er... Am I dreaming ? Are we talking about installing Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 on a Linux machine ?
xboxrulz1405241485 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2006 no, you're not dreaming, but IE6 should only be USED for IE-only websites like Yahoo! Launchcast or viewing Microsoft's website.Just launch the installer using WineTools, this is the best way to get things installed.xboxrulz

iGuest 3 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 Hey Nightfox,Your easiest solution is to download and run ie4linux.I spent a long time trying to get IE6 working with WINE for FC5 and never realised that there was this installer which could have saved me hours. I only found it after I got IE6 working, which was a pity.Cheers,MC
yordan 10 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 alternatively, you may go to https://www.dll-files.com/ and get each missing dll file. They claim Here you will find the most common files that may be missing or corrupted on your computer. Feel free to download at no cost! So, when you will have got all your missing files, things could happen to work correctly.
