iGuest 3 Report post Posted July 15, 2011 Blue screenHelp! What Are The Signs Of A Bad Graphics Card?Lately I have been getting the blue screen of death. It happens once or twice every day. I don't play games on here just surf. The other thing that happens (twice in the last week) My screen will shake up and down with about 6-8 lines going across the monitor. I reboot and it is fine. What Are The Signs Of A Bad Graphics Card?Heres my problem my laptop screen is black I have done everything to try to get video signal, but no success, I have plugged it into an external monitor and also no luck , I have checked all connections all good , I also used a flashlight to see if theres ia faint video, to see if inverter is bad, no luck, I removed ram and reinstalled also installed different ram , no luck, I also checked hard drive is good, I can hear running, but I cannot hear os turning on, I also noticed the fan runs at all times and the the bottom of laptop is hot at all times. I came to the conclusion that the video card is damaged ! can I get some input??? I would appreciate all help and thank you for your time and help.
