miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 Hahahaha - GOOD ONE though I'd come across this a long time back. OpaQue had shown this to me about an year back.. and then both of us had promptly forgotten the original phrase. I'd been bullying him to try and remember - so that I could pass it on to my friends - but here you are Thanks dude.
Chesso 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2006 Wow I never expected that, I can see what it really means though but it is very funny.I have to ask though, who on earth finds these things....
Jeigh1405241495 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2006 Hahahaha, ah man translation software is so funny sometimes. I remember back in high school me and a buddy wanted to convince the teacher we were completely inept so instead of doing a French paper properly we wrote one quicklly in english, translated it from english->german->italian->spanish->french and passed that in haha. Upon getting a native french speaker to translate the final outcome for us, what made any sense whatsoever had pretty much somehow turned out like this, oddly sexual haha. Too bad we passed it in before finding someone to help us translate it for real... that was an awkward convo trying to convince the teach to mark our real version of the report instead and not kick us out of the class for improper conduct :|
Chesso 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2006 (edited) "Ouch" that would have been a very akward moment I must say.Iv'e never really played around with all that online translation stuff but when I have had to for some of my programming projects for multiple language support I often found the results a little errr, well not quite on the money so to speak.I showed this thread to some friends of mine and they all enjoyed the good laugh it gave them, one of them said it came out the same though... she's not very computer literate though so I was kind of expecting her response Edited April 18, 2006 by Chesso (see edit history)
iGuest 3 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 This is funny ;)Where do people come up with these things? Ah well, I also mess around with translating software, and nearly every time if you translate something into one language and the change it back it comes out as something completely different
