Having Problems Setting Up A Home Network

Firewall settings can usually mess with your file sharing capabilities... Windows XP Family OS usually can easily do file/folder sharing by default... this is because there is a shared folder (by default) already on your Documents folder... Now if you want to specify particular folder for each machine, just create them and Name them Folder-Machine-Blahblah and enable its sharingAlso make sure your machines are on the same Network Group - this is very important because certain firewalls will not allow sharing with other Network Groups (although can be altered on settings)I've had these issues on my home network (3 Laptops and 3 PCs) but a bit more complicated because i was dealing with Windows XP - Windows Vista - Windows 7 - Linuxbut Firewalls gave me some serious headaches over it...
