iGuest 3 Report post Posted May 24, 2008 console vs pc Ps2 Vs. Xbox Vs. Pc 1.The PS2 assures you a 100 percent reliable hassle free Gaming experience. The moment you pop in a PS2 game in The console, it will perform flawlessly at an assured 60 fps. No lag, no system hang-ups, no nonsense! This is primarily Due to the fact that a game developer for a PS2 game knows Exactly, what hardware hes designing the game for. 1. The PC game developers have to keep in mind various different Computer configurations when developing games for The PC. A gaming PC needs to be well in sync to spit out Smooth frames without lagging. In spite of having a good Configuration, problems may creep up. Lag is the most Dreaded word in computer gaming, a lower resolution is Tolerable but LAG, no way! 2. PS2- Pop in the disc, turn on your television and grab that Controller! Its so simple that even a seven-year old kid can Comfortably do it. 2. PC-Gaming on the PC is a little more complex. You need a little bit Of expertise for tweaking the image settings, playing around With the AA and the AF to give you the best picture quality. 3. PS2 console Retail Pack: Rs 13,000 (Official Price) The package includes: 1) Console, 2) Controller Additional costs: Memory Card (8MB): Rs 550 Additional Dual Shock Controller: up to Rs 1,000 You also need a television for it . Though most of us would Argue that we already have a television, we need to add the Costs to make a fully functional gaming system. Total Cost: 14,550 + Rs 13,000 (21-inch CRT TV) = Rs 27,550. 3.PC-We will build a gaming rig keeping the price as low as Possible without compromising on gaming performance. Its Not for the casual gamer but more for someone with a good Gaming appetite and not so heavy pockets. Mid-Level Gaming PC Configuration: AMD 3000+, Asus A8N-E, 1GB DDR 400 RAM, Big Byte 6600GTPCIex, Antec SLK 1650 with 350 watts PSU, DVD-ROM, Creative 2.1 Inspire speakers, Microsoft K/B and optical Mouse Total Cost : Rs 40,000 -reply by deltagamer
skedad 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 I just did the newer version of PS3 vs X360 and Wii. I chose PS3... And in this one, I choose the PS2.I have played Sony since the first Playstation, and will probably be good to the Sony product. I have overplayed my Playstation 2, like I used to overplay my Super Nintendo. My brother in law is probably collecting the XBoxes, and I will collect the Playstations. I played Halo on his Xbox, and we played others on both consoles. I overkilled on RPGs on PS2... like I did on SNES...PC games are ok, but I will not bog down my computer with games, when I play consoles. I like particular games that are PC only, but I don't get into it hardcore like I would with a console game.I use the PC for older console platforms... they are emulators... But I don't really seem to play them as much anymore... PC games I play are like solitaire and flash games.- skedad -
