Hercco 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2005 I'd like to point out that uni.cc does no longer take registrations for domains with customizable DNS. You can still get a redirect or a HTML entry page.
iGuest 3 Report post Posted May 10, 2005 Acidmist.com has suspended its thingies until further notice.I like to use uni.ccI think that in time, more valuable free NAME SERVERS (DNS) will be given, such as .com and .co.ukUntil then, we have to put up with bog-standard freebies like .tk and .uni.cc
rhodesian.dragon 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2005 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/You can try this one but there are some settings that you may want to turn off like: - pop-up ads - Site Toolbar The only thing that I don't like about this site is that part of it is in English but part of it is in German (which is the default language) But other then that it's great... They're quite good, but the German aspect is annoying. Many of the english pages link to German pages, and the translation in some places is very dodgy, as if its been translated by something like Google or Babelfish. DanManIt 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2005 I'm currently using http://www.freedomain.pro/ I like it a good bit. All you have to do is but one of their images somewhere on your page. It is a lot better than .tk because whenever someone goes to your site, they don't have to see that add before they get to your main page.

But I think you have to get a cirtian amount of traffic per day or something... and if you want, you can purchase the domain from them too. If I can find the website address, I'll post it. [N]F
Brian1405241474 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2005 How can you guarantee traffic to the site? That is hard.I have enough trouble getting people to post on my forum on a more regular basis. It takes time to build up a following on any site.Free is always appreciated.
musichere 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2005 I have another one:http://www.kickme.to/index.php but it's very very slow and I think it places an advert (I can't remember because it's been ages since I last used it)
whistle 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2005 Can you tell me how to know a spyware within the url redirection? Will the spyware damage OS or stole information on my computer?
Mafamba Team 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2006 You should correct the title, to Free Subdomains.People would get the impression of entirely free, no catch, no hosting .com or .co.uk domaisn rather than a sub domain, you can get tons of subdomains, there's millions out there, so its useless trying to list them all.
