Brian1405241474 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2005 That is a sweet looking blade set. Swiss Army Knife is always good to have to keep in the car. You never know when you might need the scissors or tweezers. Now the new one would be good as you never know when you need to grab some research off the university computer to take home to complete.Nice.Think I'll tell my brother what I'd like for my birthday is a certain knife with usb drive. chiiyo 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2005 Actually ThinkGeek is a really cool site to dig through for people who consider themselves as geeks... I mean, blankets with caffiene molecules as motifs? Ties with binary code that makes fun of people who can't read binary? I love Thinkgeek, it's like my one favourite online site. This USB penknife came out around a year ago on Thinkgeek...Anyone else likes Thinkgeek?
jedipi 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2005 hey, this Swiss Army Knife looks cool..now IT people have more reason to have one.:Danyway, it cannot be washed after USB flash memory is added in...hhaaa
Proton 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2005 hahaha, nice, I would only buy this if it is waterproof. All my pendrives seem to get left in my trouser pockets and go through the washing machine. It is later that I find them on the ground under the clothes line and find that it still works
The Bob 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2005 I would rather purpchase both a good knife and a compact storage medium than get them both combined. Its looks fairly cheap to me and a knife is a knife, often times you do things with it that you would not want a compact storage device near.No thanks, just another peice of crap that will end up in the junk draw or in the trash after it breaks. sunny152 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2005 Nice invention I thought the pocket knives were made by Switzerland though, not Sweden. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually the penknife idea is so simple that it incorporates all the function of say around 12 tools in one. Is not that great idea, and on top of that it is very easy to carry around and very easy to operate. So just think if it also carries something to do with the software that can be plugged into a computer, wow, very simple idea but so very effective. It is like carrying a mini computer in your pocket. I think down the line in another 10 years you might carry a computer so small that it might be even named after the swiss maker's name. Funny stuff, thought I'd mention it =) Anyway I don't think this device ain't really that bad of an idea. A lot of people carry around with them these Swiss Army Pocket Knives everywhere they go, so why not have a USB stick in there along with the knives/scissors/screwdrivers and what ever else those things have. I have a friend who carries one with him all the time, and he works in I.T. (working with computers)... so this tool might be very handy for him. It's just like adding a camera in a mobile phone... if you want a camera, go buy one, right? And have one phone and one camera. Having both in one device makes things a little easier for everyone... and yeah it is also just for a bit of fun. But we see these sort of "combination devices" all over the place nowadays.
