Psp Worth Buying?

In my opinion psp is worth buying because it has some awesome games and the online play is good. It is also modable at low cost. Basically all you need is a usb cord and a memory stick that doesn't cost much. DS on the other hand need special readers and other stuff which the costs can get expencive. If anyone needs help at moding PSP or DS you can msg me on here. PSP also has some really cool features especial in europe with the Go!messenger by sony which is a really nice messenger for the PSP by sony. If you have the PSP camera you cant use messenger web cam too with it. Even though it is currently available only in Europe there are ways around this. DO THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK. psp are deffinatly worth the money and beat the ds by miles!! ive had a psp for years and i love them to bits !!! for example , on a psp you can store your pictures and view them when ever you want.you can also store your videos which you may need to get converted but just use pspvideo9 to do that and you can have all of your videos that you want on your psp to watch whenever.the games on the psp are amazing you do miss out on characters like mario and donkey kong but its well worth it with the graphics and the acual games them selfs. you can also download games and put them onto your psp for free which is amazing :)Also the psp has Wi-fi and you an go on any site when you want. it is a great feterue which now allows it to connect up to the ps3 and control it !! amazinng :)The DS just cant stand up to the PSP, so Get a PSP !!

If you like cartoonyish games then go with the ds but if you like more realistic games go with the psp. Personally i would say go with the ds because it is alot more fun as just a game system where as the psp is more of a multimedia thing.

PSPS are worth buying i dont own one my self but a friend of mine dose there real cool you can play it any where any time just remember to charge it Lol

Hmm.. Well I have been thinking of buying a psp since it has so much cool features. The DS seems to lean more towards children of younger age, but I have not used one before so I don't know. The only thing that really stinks is that psp does not have any mario games but, with the WiFi connection, Mp3s, Videos Games and more, I think its worth buying. THE DAXTER PACK! good deal.. The thing i like about my psp is that it can play movies and that you can rent them from netflix and stuff. If you can find a psp fat you can mod it and put videos on the memory card. Plus you could games on it as well but that could be stealing if you downloaded them. But if you want to have better battery life and faster loading time you can put your games on the memory card.So in short psp = good;

I've wanted a PSP for such a long time, as there are some games I really really want on the PSP, and it's only available on PSP.I think the main reason why people prefer the DS over the PSP is because BOTH systems were intended for gaming, although PSP has multimedia capabilties, therefore skyrocketing the price of the PSP. The high cost is very unappealing to many gamers, and therefore they would opt for a Nintendo DS instead.Personally however, I'd rather a PSP =P.

Psp vs DsPsp Worth Buying?

Psp: Better graphics. Better Texture. Plays movies. Plays music. Has more mature games. Is portable. Has better graphics then ps2 because the screen is minimized and the graphics are improved. As not to a big blur, is not a clear min version.DS: Has cartoon graphics. Good texture. Has good games. Is a mini wii basically. Has E for everyone games mostly. Has two screens. Has a touch screen. Is cheaper than the psp. Has a longer battery.

40$ PSPPsp Worth Buying?

some one is trying to sell me a psp for 40$ is this a good price , I looked at it and it barly has any scratches on it but it is the older version P.S I would like to know your feed back!

A PSP is more powerful than the DS and it has more optionsYou're choice should be based on what type of games that you want to playif you like shooters or GTA stuff, a PSP is betterif you like games like wario world etc. a DS is the better optionMe out

Hmm I didn't want to start another topic so am bringing this old one alive. Over here the PSP costs around $75 more than a PS2. So I can see that the prices have come down. Wikipedia says the PSP takes one-and-a-half hours to charge and gives around 4.5 hours of battery backup. That's a little more than what my netbook gives, so it's pretty decent, right? In any case, gaming for more than three hours could get exhausting and the battery running out is a good excuse to take a break.So is it a good buy? I'd say yes, because as of now no other handheld console offers the same assortment of features that the PSP does. The Nintendo DS is good for playing games but the rest of its features aren't too impressive. And it costs almost the same as the PSP here (Nintendo doesn't have official sales in India some dealers put the price of the DS at just around $20 less than the PSP). Then there's the matter of games - this situation is similar to the console war back in the 90s. There was Sony's Playstation and Nintendo's....umm 64? Don't remember exactly. Anyway, Nintendo was still using catridges while Sony moved on to compact discs. So games could be bigger and better on the PS. It's a similar case now. The DS uses some sort of memory cards? The PSP has a specialised disc which can certainly pack in more material. It's just a shame that both consoles haven't produced path-breaking games like the full-size consoles do, but on Nintendo there's just Mario while on the PSP there are at least a few memorable titles like God of War, Tekken, GTA, etc.This topic was started five years ago. The PSP has evolved a lot since then and has brought in many changes, while the DS hasn't made any noteworthy changes. So in today's context, the PSP is the way to go!

I think for that price, it's better to buy Playstation 2 and install a chip at some electronics shop to play piracy games.

There are hardly any new games on the Playstation 2. All the latest titles are now being released only on the PS3 and PSP. Of course in some rare cases, like the Harry Potter Game Series, all the consoles get their own versions, but such titles are rare. The PSP is definitely an old console but it still manages to grab many new titles and these cost lesser than the PS3 titles. That's why it is not a bad idea to buy the PSP. I want to buy it just for the games I mentioned above. God of War: Chains of Olympus is a PSP-exclusive title but still forms part of the story of the whole series, so I'm waiting to play it soon. Similar is the case with Tekken. I guess this is a ploy to attract gamers who would like to know the whole story; by releasing different parts on different consoles, it's like a trick to make hard-core fans buy all the consoles just to get the whole story In any case, it's a good idea to buy the PSP simply for the portability factor, which you don't get with traditional consoles. 3-4 hours of gaming wherever you want and whenever you want is certainly a great idea and I wouldn't miss it.
