php chat is script and you can find many php chat script on http://www.hotscripts.com/ but i think best php chat is flashchatflash chat is script has chat space with swf file and fla file for your edit

the hard part in a flash chat is that you have to be good in designing the template. i have seen a lot of them and they sucked at design. which brings page-based chat more desiring to the eyes.

well they may be what you say but it does not matter here because the topic is about php chat not shoutboxes.

I've been searching around for the past couple of days for a good php chatroom and I think I found one here:

It's pretty simple, nothing fancy, but I think it's better than the Java chat I've been using on my site.
