szupie 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 I think that camera is custom made, and only available to that maker himself. It might appear on the market in the future though.
chris1234 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 i am guessing but he probably made it by simply sticking the digital sensors together and moved them further back makng a much larger patch (like the old box cameras).the clearness is all todo with the sensors large light gathering capabilities, and of course exposing correctly.chris
szupie 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 I don't really get this: what do old weapons have to do with camera stuff? How does it help it get better pictures?

lasto i glemyr 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 I wasn't aware that they had decommissioned enough old Cold War hardware to make a camera like that, knowing the CIA and all those Echelon theories. Anyway, that kind of resolution is ridiculous. If typical image files ever get to be that resolution, they'd have to invent some better method of compression. Anyone with a dial-up connection would be screwed if they didn't...
almoo7 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2005 Oh man, if only money wasn't involved in everyday life. That cam is a must have for photo enthusiasts like me. If they mass produced it, someone/some company will definitely buy it...

iGuest 3 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 Replying to szupieThe cold war hardware is more than likely the old spy cameras they used to use on the U2s.
