chilipie 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2004 Has anyone got any recommendations for good FTP clients? I have mainly used web-based file managers before, so nothing to hard to use .
Hercco 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2004 Take a look at this thread. My recommendation would be an open source (and thus free) client called FileZilla. It is freely downloadable at SourceForge FileZilla is about as easy to use as it gets so that shouldn't be a problem.

daniel151405241469 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2004 personally i like FileZilla the best, its just easy to use and consumes little system resources. the only problem with it is if the log box (the box at the top which shows the status information) goes past a specific length, it scrolls weirdly. musichere 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2004 What's happened to WS-FTP LE (It's made by a British company called Ipswitch I think). It used to be huge and in the top ranked downloaded files from websites for example http://download.cnet.com/windows/ but now for some reason people aren't talking about it any more even though in my opinion is is perfect.
