Media Player 10 has released. try it and tell me...

Recommended Posts

Microsoft released newest version of Media Player. This Media Player 10 came with new design, a bit more user friendly i think. And one point i like is, the auto sync fature. With this feature, i can transfer a real big movie or audio file to my device faster. And it determines automatically the best size for your device. One thing that i don't like is... for a low specification PC, just leave this one behind, or your computer will work so slooooowly :) Any experiences about it?

in general i'm not too fond about mediaplayer.i use bsplayer for videoswinamp (2.9 :)) for playing songs.both are very light, bsplayer works with subtitles and has many great features!and both are free!

Windows Media Player 10 works fine, yes, better than Windows Media Player 9 but it was not as good as my expectations. But then, I like it and it's one of the applications I use for playing media files. :)

hm, i really don't like itunes for some reason. for cataloging music, i use musicmatch. it's much more powerfull for tagging music. you could use mm first and then copy the files to itunes.mm is a bit heavy, but it has more options. for a fast player, use winamp 2. and mv2... well i tried it and now i'm using bsplayer again.

Microsoft has dominated the market-It comes out will good products though (if you don't count the neumorous security holes) It looks a little techno even for me I find it hard to navigate within the menus, Like i can actually find the menus

I got Windows Media Player v10 beta the first time it was released. I thought the final version will come out late but it was released so fast. But indeed Media Player 10 is better. I recommend you upgrade especially for those who downloads music from the internet. It has also a great CD burning feature with added functionality compare to version 9.Others are purely cosmetic changes.

Did Microsoft release it for Windows 2000 yet? Last I checked it was only for Windows XP.

I don't think Microsoft is going to relase Windows Media Player 10 for Windows 2000, any time soon...

When I did use Windows Media Player 10, its worser then Windows Media Player 9 so I stick to 9 for now, or until I get something better...

I want to add this :Windows Media Player 10 includes support for .avi files encoded with DivXHow come you guys didn't notiece it ?Win Media Player 10 is good but not so good to be v10, it could well have been v9.5 or so. Nothing gr8, except that it burns more system resource.

how come i didn't notice? well: i could play divx with mediaplayer 2 and any other version. if you install the 3ivx +Xvid codecs, you can play just about everything with every player.seriously: if you want to know what i did with mediaplayer: i got myself this program called XPlite and de-installed it.music = winamp movies = bsplayercd writing = nerothey do wath mediaplayer does but they do it faster and have more options.
