Scam Mails Alert Nigerian New Ways Forward

Recommended Posts

Everyone (ok not all) know this is a fake. Yet there are still people who falls into the trap. Since there are still money to be made, they will still persist.

I do agree that it is fake , but i think we can educate the ignorant people out there who fall into the trap to make quick money. And also Gmail and other sites like yahoo mail should have a button to scan the email to check if its a scam or not by verifying it with other email and give its opinion , so people will know when its fake or not :)

Let's not generalize and put entire tag of spamming on "Nigerians". If we've to look at the spam trend we can see that. Most of the forum spam that comes from Russia. All those links to the porn site and viagra ads on dead forums is from russia. "Get-rich-quick-quick" and "SEO" ads based SPAM comes from canada and pakistan. Some pakistani spam even send ads of anti-virus and anti-malware. If you check the "Downline" and "earn money from home" type of scams then you'll see that is from india. And mix of all these spam is also from US. So at the end, let's not tag any single country for SPAM mail and postings. SPAMmer are universal, even on Xisto too. :)

But seriously, i'm turn off with the scam mails like " x person is wife of y person and wants to transfer huge amount of money". Or "You've won this much money in uk lottery and you need to send x amount to receive your funds". There are even worst cases, some SEO companies are sending mails by checking whois and sending ads to lure domain owners to get SEO advice from them. Seriously, spammers get a life. Think differently, come up with something new.

I'm interested in who the hell is trying to advertise 'forex' marketing. Every time I've started an online forum, within a few days I'll get around seven successive posts from people with odd names and hotmail/gmail email accounts asking questions about forex.

"Hello, can anyone help me with online forex marketing? What is it to mean the numbers are tipped for 5?"

And I've checked and they're coming from multiple IPs- suggesting that they're using a proxy or there's some sort of network.. It also means I can't permanently ban the scammers, and I have to prune my forums every few days..
