stevey 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2005 let me tell you something i have learnt ova the years, learing a programming language is just usually the beggining, what really counts on how good a programmer you are is how creative you can be, and how well you tackle problems, so if you want to know how goood you really actually are, then this is what i suggest, start your own project, just think of something people might need and start developing it from scratch, this will invoke all your creative and programming skills. its the best way to develop...by the way im currently trying to learn java, i thought i;d give the oo programming languages, a try.... cse-icons 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2005 hone ur language skills by developing something that you need. The satisfaction that comes out of doing it all yourself is tremendous, that u will feel only once u do it.It can be something as simple as a calculator or calender or more complex like assembler or an interpretor for a small language. You can add gui using C graphics too, if that makes it more cool......but definitely u learn a lot this way....
