varalu 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 Stop sitting idle and burn some calories. Of course food plays a vital role in that, so do spend some time to identify the best foods. By best foods i mean, balanced and hygienic. This is the best way to stay fit and healthy... Other artificial options may definitely spoil your health and cause adverse effects. bishoujo 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 housework doesn't actually help to burn of fat. It's labor, not exercise. To keep healthy, you should eat a balanced diet and find time to exercise. My mum always complains that being a full time housewives gives her little time to go out and spend time exercising, but it's really quite simple. You can just get out of the house for a few minutes and take a brisk walk around the estate or jog. A little sun and aerobic activity is always good for health. moutonoir 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2008 There are certain little exercises you can do to keep moving, even when stuck doing housework. For instance, while you're standing at the stove, you can strengthen your calves by slowly lifting and lowering yourself on your toes. This doesn't burn a lot of calories, but it will increase muscle tone and make your legs strong. And it sounds funny, but if you make a habit of fidgeting, you can burn slightly more calories than just sitting still. The amount of activity you can or will get while doing housework is of course limited, but by making small changes and consistantly doing them, you can get just a little bit more exercise, which will add up in the long run.And as bishoujo says, getting out for a quick walk or run is a wonderful way to get exercise, and just 30 min a day is usually enough to keep fit (assuming you eat a healthy diet). contactskn 2 Report post Posted January 24, 2011 Dear friend what I think obviously household work if it is laborious helps in burning fat otherwise you should spare some time for your fitness, and go for some exercise like jogging, gym, swimming, cycling etc. Some times it becomes very difficult to cope up with your household work and then get extra time to work out etc. but what to do it?s your health after all and for this you have to spare some time. Obviously if you don?t have sufficient time to work out then especially you should be very careful about your diet too. Avoid fatty food. Consume raw vegetables as salads and fruits in plenty. Have a healthy time dear.
