Definitely Gmail.It uses AJAX which Microsoft copied for its new Windoze Live Mail, which is slow and rarely loads successfully. MS copied many other ideas from Google. Their search still sucks, so does their AJAX mail app. Original = Best. Gmail is responsive and quick, and its open source. Also it isn't owned by a company like Microsoft. I believe Gmail is cleaner, and not bloated unlike Windows Live Mail. If this is original hotmail we're talking about, I believe there is really nothing good about hotmail, except maybe it is more responsive than Windows Live Mail. I really don't get the point of MSN - it is really just another portal with ads. Even I could make one using a FREE open source Content Management System and some mods once I get my account here, but without ads. I just LOVE this forum - I can actually express my opinions. Another reason why MSN sucks btw - no PROPER forum.

I would definitely be using GMail if it wasn't for the MSN Messenger I have been using to contact my friends. I have seen people using GMail and then signing to MSN, but I do not know how to do that. The other thing would be that I won't get automatic updates if my email has a new message just like MSN.

i am using live aka hotmail and i find it be better than g-mail the feature that g-mail lacking is secruity and in today world that is the number one feature that should be strong everything else should come after. When the release of live comes out gmail will be nothing compared to it. People who have windows live will no what i am talking about.

Ofcourse Gmail, as its a Google product. Also because of its Stylish look and wide feature it provides. Gmail is also Fast and easy to work on it.

I use gmail more than hotmail. I like it better. Less junk mail, better security, and all that stuff from microsoft about gmail being a virus is a load of crap.

i would say Gmail is better. Not the fact though that you dont get live chat but for a start its operated by google. You get unlimeted accounts free and its easy to get them. The inbox is javascript so you dont need to refresh :XD:. umm yeah. Gmail has no ads, better features and better stuff. And easy interface. Hotmail is rubbish (in my opinion,) because of:adsmore adspop-ups only a few things like- add friend, email, talk.Gmail is the best!

Hehe... I like your signature image. =p What are those things called? PHP images or whatever? (Those images that change what they display based on what information they snag from the user - IP addy, ISP, etc.)

There really is NO competition there. GMail definitely wins with more storage capacity, convenience of use, effective spam blocking, hotkeys, real-time chat that works at ANY computer... need I say more?

Then again, I haven't used Hotmail since the late 90's. They may have gotten better...

I like them both - Advantages and Disadvantages for both. :DI use MSN DAILY - Therefore the easy Hotmail Integration adds up a whole lot!Second of all - Gmail is GOOD, but I'm just more "habited" with Hotmail than Gmail, and therefore i shall stick with Hotmail. :XD:HOTMAIL has even MORE space and more features than gmail now, so all you "gmail" fanboys can stick it up the b*tt (Atleast the GMAIL FANBOYS who accuse hotmail of being bad.)

friends for me it is Gmail "The best" because i came to know all the fearutes available in it.I wold like you also to know the reason why i stand for Gmail, Gmail has a great spam blocker. I have never had junk mail come in to my inbox. Way better than hotmail and yahoo which get junk mail all the time. this includes protection from porno junk mail and other bad things kids shouldn't be seeing.Gmail also gives you 2GB of memory when you register. Hotmail and yahoo don't, well not immediately; you have to use the account for a while to get the same memory gmail gives you already. great for storing large school projects or other forms of media.Better organization. Instead of a lot of "re: subject" emails form the same person, gmail organizes it all into on message, and you can see the entire history within it, so no more searching through endless amounts of replies, it'll all be in one place. good for organization and time management. Hope you have the complete idea about Gmail now.
