delivi 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2006 We all know that GMail can also be accessed from the mobile browser through the URL https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/&ss=1&scc=1<mpl=default<mplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1 displying in plain text format not as enticing as its PC version, but now Google has comeup with a new alternative, just visit the URL https://www.google.com/mobile/gmail/ and download it once and access the same web AJAX based interface in your mobile fast. ink 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2006 Do you happen to know whether it works on all phones? Even the prehistoric ones? I never use WAP on my phone, because I have no idea how much it costs, and I'm afraid my phone won't be able to handle certain sites /software. It might freeze or something, and then there won't be a crt + alt + delete key o_O;
hype 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 It depends on your model of your mobile.. Most of the phones that supports WAP could open up most of the WAP pages, since WAP pages are design to be light and easily loaded.. I've seen this mobile version introduce in the gmail page the first time its out, but I never tried since I have no use for the mobile stuff as I dont read mail on the go, but I trust google programs and it will surely works great!
