Where Can I Learn Html? I need some help with it.

Recommended Posts

Also, bro that asked the question originally, you wanted to know if you'd learned enough HTML, which everyone here failed to answer ;) I'd say yes. A little of experience in all the languages will benefit you more than a ****load of HTML. Because, mainly, HTML has boundraies that CGI/PERL and PHP, and ASP.NET pick up on. I suggest, alot of each, moreso than all HTML. In other words, if you know basic HTML tags, and some javascript, I'd say you're ready for the big dogs. Go learn some PHP, (Google it) and have your way.

I learned HTML by looking at a couple tutorials (at w3schools.com and davesite.com). then i went to a few of my favorite sites, and studied their HTML source ('View -> Source' in most browsers) for many months. it really works!now i'm learning PHP and failing at that, but you can't get ANYWHERE if you don't know HTML! also, its more important to learn CSS before learning Javascript IMHO. HTML and CSS go hand-in-hand. plus, basically everyone enables CSS. not so for Javascript! many people choose to manually block Javascript through their browser settings, so its not a great idea to overuse it... just be warned...PS. be prepared to see the words "Hello World" at basically any programming tutorial you can imagine! ;)

i strongly recommend you to buy a book on HTML, the best one is definitely "HTML in a nutshell" by O'Reilly. This one is to learn HTML, there is an even better one which is used as a reference book: "Dynamic HTML. The Definitive Reference". I am a web professional, I have used a lot of programming books over the years to help me through the hard times and I can tell you, the Definitive Reference on HTML is definitely the one I have used.
