Where You From?

Recommended Posts

I live in the Maritime regions of Canada - New Brunswick, to be more specific. :) \ I like my country though I can't say I LOVE it. LOL :) I love having free health care and a country more interested in peace and harmony than creating wars and oppressing their civilians. :D We have warm springs, hot summers, mild autumns and - mostly - freezing cold winters! People say we talk funny but I don't care - y'all talk funny to me too! :o Ummm... what else... um... we have a lot of diverse cultures, no terrorists (that I know of ( :) ) and people seem to love us. Guess that's all :o

And, since we're supposed to be abnormally polite: THANK YOU... and YOU'RE WELCOME!

I was born in SFRJ, Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia... And lived there for about 10 years... Then I lived in SRJ, Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia for several years, then I lived in SRJ, umm.. I guess the best way to translate would be Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, again for several years... Then it was Serbia and Montenegro for few years, and now it's Serbia... I lived in all these countries, without ever leaving my himetown :o

You are too funny, Galahad! LMAO :o How do you like your royal family? I'm a bit of a royalty-nut so it's always interesting to me to hear what people have to say about their monarchies. Last thing I heard from your monarchs was when a news story or something came out about the boys supposedly put an ad out looking for wives. LMAO :o

Well, like Erin a couple of posts up, I am also from Canada, but the other side of the map. British Columbia is the Province I live in now, but I was born and schooled in Southern Ontario (not Toronto, thank goodness). Lived in Alberta for a bit, too. I have travelled across the country and there is amazing scenery throughout the entire country. Decent folk, good regional foods, and lots of diversity. We take pride in being a 'mosaic' rather than a 'melting pot' in our dynamic mutli-cultural country. Where else would I live? No place. I like it just fine where I am.
