I tryed out the old "line" style background.. So which you think is better with background lines or without? please vote

I voted for the second one. It looks more sharp to me. Sharp in the sense if the creature is asking others to obey or otherwise feel the heat from him, not only his but his surrounding itself must look like he is in command and sharp and strong. That's my take..

i voted for the second one,i think the first background makes the picture look undefined,like when you take a picture and the object it's moving and the picture get's ruined. i can't explain it very well but my vote goes to n?2.

I use a lot of background lines in my own graphics work. I feel that as long as they are put into an image that looks good with them, they look fine. I have to say I like 1 more.

Number 1 is good... it looks like the picture is being viewed through a webcam or similar tool. But I prefer number two, because it looks more realistic - the background scenery is more clearer and more dramatic.

The lines bother my eyes a bit, so I must say Number 2. It just looks better lol no futher explaination.

Well I think the people that voted for the lines are crazy. It does not look good at all with the lines. Not at all. So if you like it with the lines. Well that is your opinion. But I still think it is not good with the lines.

Everyone thanks for your votes and comments and ideas where the line will look good and where not so good ... at end it is 4:7 so though battle where no lined one wins ...TypoMage - if it is your opinion then don't call some one crazy ... try making your sig that looks good with background lines and then we will see ..
