It's not illegal to view someones camera they leave wide open, neither is it illegal to find a password from a .Passwd file (heh)

 

It's like leaving the controller and monitor out on the street for anybody to walk up to and mess with. If you cause damage to the camera (from repeatedly moving it over and over till the motors burn out) then there is a problem.

 

And if you do nothing with the passwords then they can't do anything to you.

 

Simple fact, if you can access it without authentication then google can too.

 

Go learn how the internet really works pfft.
