Cool_Freaker 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2006 Today I was checking my account, as my site forums were down, so I wanted to see the SQL server status or fix the mySQL database. On Cpanel it says I have 0/99 mySQL databases - which is really weird seeing that I have definitely had one for over a year .Anyone have any ideas? Or will I need to start from scratch? brandice 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2006 don't panic. It'll come back once the SQL is back up.

brandice 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2006 (edited) Weird, I just checked and it says everything is up. But my board is down right now as well, and I am having the same problem as you. But it's happened before. Whenever whatever is messed up gets sorted out all of your stuff will be back to how it was before. OpaQue 15 Report post Posted March 3, 2006 YA. This is what a MySQL hog up is.. Even though the remote ping uptime meters show that mysql is online, it is actually choked. So, its really very hard to detect such type of a downtime.Anyway, We are improving our monitoring scripts to detect such outages.
