malish 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2006 Yes, but you have to also go to your domain name provider, get into control panel and change dns's (dynamic naming servers) to the ones trap 17 is offering: ns1.trap17.comns2.trap17.comAfter you do that it might take up to 48 hours for the new dns to propagate. You might also have to modify "A" values in your cpanel, but don't worry about that right now, do what I described and if after 48 hours something doesn't work - message me back and I will help you! Albus Dumbledore 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2006 ok my site has advanced i guess, it now shows a search place.... orderofhogwarts.be can anyone tell me why and what i do to get my site back/up to that domain?
BuffaloHelp 24 Report post Posted January 31, 2006 You need to do three things:1) access your control panel of orderofhogwarts.be and change nameservers as malish posted.2) access the process page https://support.xisto.com/ and change your subdomain name from current to orderofhogwarts.be (requires 15 credits).3) wait about 24-72 hours and your domain name will be linked to your Xisto hosting service. From this point on, it's YourSite.com/cpanel and your subdomain name is no longer valid.
