serverph 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 were you able to identify what type of codec you are missing? there are other types of codecs used in audio/video to properly run them. maybe what you are missing are not microsoft codecs.but if they are microsoft codecs, you can pick them out here:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

pawitp 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 XP codec pack is a large codec pack which contain most codec you'll ever need. Also try Klite Codec Pack they're in different sizes. The FULL should have all the codec you'll need. You may also want to try GSpot to identify what codecs you're missing!

Inspiron 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 It depends on what codecs you are looking for. If you are not sure which codec to download, you can always use the codec pack. They contain most of the common codecs used in current media files.http://www.free-codecs.com/codec_packs.htmOtherwise, you can always go to free-codecs.com to search for a particular codec. They are all free to use and download.
