Recommended Posts

Im trying to install a website engine called LDU on my website. I think the problem is with my database. This is the error i get when i try to call up the engine ( http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ):

Not FoundThe requested URL /LDU801 was not found on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.Apache/1.3.33 Server at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Port 80

As well heres what the config file looks like:

// ========================// MySQL database parameters. Change to fit your host.// ========================$cfg['mysqlhost'] = 'localhost';	// Database host URL$cfg['mysqluser'] = 'elegost';    // Database user$cfg['mysqlpassword'] = '********';  	// Database password$cfg['mysqldb'] = 'elegost_main';  	// Database name

Is there somthing mis-configured here?
If its help ful, LDU's website is here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Ok i just uploaded a file, index.html, into the main root of my website, to tell users its under construction. So now when i got to pyro.trap17.com i get this:

[DIR] Parent Directory        12-Nov-2005 16:18      -
[DIR] _private/               12-Nov-2005 14:54      -
[DIR] cgi-bin/                12-Nov-2005 16:09      -
[DIR] images/                 12-Nov-2005 14:54      -

Apache/1.3.33 Server at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Port 80

And when i go to pyro.trap17.com/index.html i get this:

Not FoundThe requested URL /index.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Just to rule out any posibilities... did you upload to the public_html folder or www folder? Did you use FTP or cPanel to upload?

I used SmartFTP to upload the files. In file manager it says they are there, but i still get the 404 error saying they are not there
